We hear your cry, and our hearts ache with you in this battle you are facing. Nineteen years of freedom is not erased in a moment of weakness, and we stand with you in the truth that Jesus Christ is your Deliverer and your Strong Tower. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). What you have endured is not a game or a trivial matter; spiritual warfare is real, and the forces of darkness will stop at nothing to drag a child of God back into bondage. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We must address the reality of what you are up against. The mention of voodoo and demonic attacks is not something to be taken lightly, nor is it something to fear when we are covered in the blood of Jesus. The name of Jesus is the most powerful weapon we have. At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow—those in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:10). You have rightly called upon His name, and we join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your home, and your circumstances. The enemy has no authority where the blood of Christ has been applied.

But we must also address the relapse. Addiction is a fierce battle, and the enemy will use every tactic—including spiritual oppression—to pull you back into chains. Yet, we serve a God who breaks every chain (Psalm 107:14). Your identity is not in your struggle; it is in Christ. You are not defined by this moment of weakness but by the finished work of Jesus on the cross. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in your life in the name of Jesus. We declare that you are set free, and we stand on the promise that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).

We also want to gently but firmly address the language used in your request. While we understand the depth of your pain and the intensity of your battle, we must be careful not to give the enemy more power than he has. The use of symbols or numbers in place of words can sometimes inadvertently open doors to the very darkness we are fighting against. Let us be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). The name of Jesus is our authority, and His Word is our sword. We do not need to engage in spiritual warfare with anything other than the truth of Scripture and the power of His name.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother who has cried out to You in his time of distress. Lord, You see the battle he is facing—both the spiritual warfare and the struggle with addiction. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, who heals, and who restores. We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, his mind, his home, and his circumstances. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of addiction, oppression, and fear in the name of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would break every chain that seeks to bind him. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him in a fresh and powerful way. Fill him with Your peace, Your strength, and Your presence. Remind him of who he is in Christ—a new creation, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb (2 Corinthians 5:17). Lord, we ask that You would restore to him the joy of his salvation (Psalm 51:12) and renew a steadfast spirit within him.

We also pray for protection over his life. The enemy has sought to harm him, but we declare that no evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We cover him in the blood of Jesus and ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around him, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we ask that You would expose every scheme of the enemy and render it powerless in the name of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen his faith. Help him to stand firm in the truth of Your Word and to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7). Surround him with godly believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and walk with him in this season. Provide him with the support and accountability he needs to walk in freedom.

Lord, we also pray for those who are attacking him. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Break the chains of darkness in their lives and draw them to Yourself. Let Your light shine in their hearts so that they may turn from their wicked ways and be saved (2 Corinthians 4:6).

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We thank You that Your grace is sufficient for him, and that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith. The enemy may have thrown everything at you, but he has already been defeated at the cross. You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in prayer and accountability. Seek out a biblical counselor or a pastor who can help you walk through this season with wisdom and discernment.

Remember, the battle is not yours; it is the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). You are not alone. We are standing with you, and more importantly, Jesus is standing with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep pressing into Him, keep praying, and keep declaring His truth over your life. Freedom is yours in Christ, and we believe that He will restore you fully.

We're here for you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the battle can feel overwhelming. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, just as He was when He walked this earth. He's not surprised by your relapse, and He's not disappointed in you. He loves you just the same.

We want to encourage you to keep fighting, to keep pressing into Jesus. The enemy wants you to believe that you're alone, that you're a failure, but that's a lie. You're a child of God, and He's fighting for you. He's fighting with you.

We're joining you in prayer, brother. We're asking Jesus to strengthen you, to fill you with His peace and His power. We're asking Him to break every chain that's holding you back, to set you free from addiction and from the fear of voodoo and demonic attacks. We're asking Him to protect you, to send His angels to encamp around you, to guard you in all your ways.

And we're asking for those attacking you. We're asking Jesus to open their eyes to the truth, to draw them to Himself, to save them.

Keep holding on, brother. Keep fighting. Jesus is right there with you, and He's not going anywhere. You're not alone. We're with you, and Jesus is with you. Together, we can overcome this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your courage and transparency in sharing such a vulnerable and intense struggle. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you in prayer, especially knowing the weight of nineteen years of freedom and the spiritual battles you are facing. We have lifted you before the throne of grace, pleading the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, and your circumstances. We have prayed for divine protection against every dark force seeking to harm you, for restoration of your sobriety, and for the peace of Christ to guard your heart and mind.

We continue to stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that the power of Jesus’ blood is greater than any curse or attack of the enemy. If you have experienced breakthrough, deliverance, or even a moment of God’s peace since you posted, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, please know we are not walking away—we will keep interceding for you. Post this request again as a new prayer need if you’d like, and we will join you afresh in crying out to our Father.

May the Lord surround you with His angels, strengthen you with His might, and remind you daily of His unfailing love and power. You are not alone in this fight. We stand with you, covered in the blood of Jesus, believing for complete victory and restoration. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
