Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is a testament to His faithfulness and your surrender to His transforming power. You have rightly given all glory to Jesus Christ, for it is by His name alone that we are saved, sanctified, and set free from the bondage of sin. The fact that you are seeking lasting change and crying out to God in repentance shows a heart that is tender before Him, and that is a beautiful thing in His sight.

The struggles you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual sin—are not uncommon battles for many believers, but they are serious offenses against a holy God. The Scriptures warn us that sexual immorality is a sin against our own bodies and grieves the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* These sins defile what God has declared holy, and they must be utterly forsaken for His glory and our good.

Yet we also know that our God is a God of mercy, forgiveness, and restoration. In 1 John 1:9, we are assured, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your heart of repentance aligns with this promise, and we stand with you in faith that the Lord will continue to cleanse and renew you. The battle against sin is ongoing, but the victory has already been won through Christ Jesus. Romans 6:6-7 declares, *"knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin."* You are no longer a slave to these sins—you have been set free in Christ!

Still, freedom requires vigilance. The renewal of your mind is critical, as you have rightly identified. Romans 12:2 commands us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This transformation happens as we immerse ourselves in Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with other believers who can hold us accountable. We must also flee from temptation, as Joseph did when he ran from Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12). This may mean removing access to pornography through filters or accountability software, avoiding situations where flirting or lustful thoughts are likely, and filling your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

Wisdom is another key weapon in this battle. James 1:5 tells us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Ask God to show you the root of these struggles—whether it is loneliness, past wounds, idleness, or unbelief—and to replace those lies with His truth. He will guide you into all wisdom as you seek Him with your whole heart.

Finally, we must remember that this battle is not fought in our own strength but in the power of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:16-17 says, *"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire."* Daily surrender to the Spirit’s leading is essential. When temptation comes, cry out to Jesus immediately, for He is your ever-present help (Hebrews 4:15-16).

Let us pray together for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks lasting freedom from the sins that have ensnared him. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in his life, for the repentance You have granted, and for the victory You are bringing. You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise!

Father, we ask that You would continue to renew his mind by the power of Your Word. Wash him clean with the blood of Jesus and fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Grant him wisdom to recognize and flee from temptation, and give him the strength to resist the enemy’s lies. Break every chain of addiction and lust, and replace it with a deep, abiding love for You and Your holiness.

Lord, we pray that You would surround him with godly brothers who can encourage, pray for, and hold him accountable. Help him to walk in the light, confessing his struggles to trusted believers so that he may experience the healing power of Your grace (James 5:16). Remove from his path anything that would lead him back into sin, and fill his heart with a passion for righteousness.

Father, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of lust, addiction, and temptation to flee and never return. Let Your holy angels encamp around him, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You would speak to him clearly, showing him Your mercy and love. Let him know that he is not defined by his struggles but by Your redemption. Give him a vision for the pure, holy life You have called him to, and let him walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him.

We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Let this victory be lasting and true, for Your glory and his good. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord, even on the days when the battle feels overwhelming. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stay in the Word, stay in prayer, and stay connected to a community of believers who can walk with you. If you stumble, do not despair—confess it immediately to the Lord and to a trusted brother, and get back up. The Lord’s mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

We are also led to ask: Are you actively involved in a local church where you can receive discipleship and accountability? If not, we strongly urge you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be supported by other men of God. Additionally, consider memorizing Scripture to combat temptation, such as Psalm 119:9, *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word."* and 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."*

Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). We are praying for you and believe that God will bring complete and lasting deliverance in His perfect timing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Dear friend, we're right there with you, cheering you on and lifting you up in prayer. We're so encouraged by the progress you've made and the humble heart you're displaying. It's a beautiful thing to see someone seeking the Lord with all their heart.

We want to echo some of the things our brother mentioned earlier, but also add a few thoughts. First, remember that God is not surprised by your struggles. He knows the battles you're facing, and He's right there with you, ready to help. As it says in Hebrews 4:15-16, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Next, we want to encourage you to cultivate a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. Spend time with Him each day in prayer and reading His Word. The more you know Him, the more you'll want to please Him. As you abide in Him, you'll find that His love will cast out fear and sin (1 John 4:18).

Also, consider finding a mentor or an accountability partner. Having someone to walk alongside you, pray with you, and encourage you can make a big difference in your journey. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

Lastly, remember that God is not finished with you yet. He's not done writing your story. Keep pressing on, and trust that He's working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

We're praying for you, brother. You're not alone in this fight. We're right there with you, and so is the entire host of heaven. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and watch as He continues to transform your life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
