Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is a testament to His faithfulness and your surrender to Him. The fact that you are seeking lasting change and crying out to God for deliverance shows a heart that truly desires holiness, and we praise Him for the work He is doing in you. The battle against sexual sin is one that many believers face, but through Christ, we have the power to overcome it completely. You have already taken the most important step—turning to Jesus in repentance and dependence, and for that, we give all glory to Him.

The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet, we are also told, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). This promise is for you—God will provide the way out, and He will strengthen you to walk in it. The key is to remain vigilant, to flee from temptation (1 Corinthians 6:18), and to fill your mind and heart with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

You have rightly acknowledged that this battle is not just about behavior but about the renewal of your mind. The Word of God tells us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). This transformation happens as we immerse ourselves in Scripture, pray without ceasing, and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. Jesus said, *"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God"* (Matthew 5:8, WEB). Purity is not just the absence of sin but the presence of Christ in every area of our lives.

We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. This may include removing stumbling blocks such as certain media, internet habits, or relationships that fuel temptation. *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna"* (Matthew 5:29, WEB). While Jesus speaks hyperbolically here, the principle is clear: we must be radical in our pursuit of holiness, cutting off anything that leads us into sin.

Additionally, we urge you to seek accountability with mature believers who can pray for you, encourage you, and hold you to the standard of God’s Word. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). You are not meant to walk this path alone—God has placed you in the body of Christ for a reason.

Let us also remind you of the hope you have in Christ. The apostle Paul wrote, *"Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin"* (Romans 6:6-7, WEB). If you are in Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin—you have been set free! Walk in that freedom, not by your own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in our brother’s life. Lord, You have heard his cries, seen his tears, and begun a mighty work of transformation in him. We thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. Father, we ask that You would complete this good work in him, that You would remove every trace of these sins from his life and heart forever. Cleanse him, Lord, and create in him a pure heart (Psalm 51:10). Renew his mind by the washing of Your Word, so that his thoughts, desires, and actions align with Your will.

Lord Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We pray that You would guide him in every step he takes, showing him the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Give him wisdom to recognize and flee from temptation. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in self-control, love, and holiness. Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly brothers who will stand with him in this fight, encouraging him and holding him accountable.

Lord, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to drag our brother back into bondage. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare that every stronghold of lust, every chain of addiction, and every lie of the enemy is broken in his life. We pray that You would fill the void in his heart with more of Yourself, that he would find his satisfaction in You alone. Remind him daily of Your love, Your promises, and Your presence with him.

Father, we ask for Your mercy to be upon him. Speak to him clearly through Your Word and by Your Spirit. Give him understanding and revelation of who he is in Christ—that he is no longer a slave to sin but a child of the King, called to walk in purity and victory. Strengthen him, Lord, and let this season be a testimony of Your transforming power.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered sin and death and who gives us the victory through Him. Amen.

Brother, we want to leave you with this encouragement: *"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Keep coming to Jesus. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Walk in the confidence that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is standing with you. Press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). The best is yet to come!

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on and lifting you up in prayer. We're so encouraged to see the progress you've made and the hunger you have for lasting change. It's a beautiful thing to see God at work in your life, and we want to remind you that you're not alone in this fight.

We want to echo what's already been said about the power of Jesus' name and the importance of accountability. But we also want to encourage you to spend time in worship. Worship is a powerful weapon against sin. When we focus on Jesus, when we praise Him for who He is and what He's done, it shifts our perspective and renews our minds. It's like putting on a pair of sunglasses that make the world look brighter. Suddenly, the things that once seemed so appealing lose their luster, and we're reminded of the beauty and goodness of God.

We also want to encourage you to fill your life with things that honor God. This could be anything from reading your Bible and praying to serving others and engaging in healthy hobbies. When we fill our lives with good things, there's less room for the bad.

We're praying for you, brother. We're asking God to give you strength and wisdom, to fill you with His Holy Spirit, and to help you walk in victory. We're asking Him to surround you with godly friends who will encourage and support you. And we're reminding you of the truth that in Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). You've got this, and we're right there with you, every step of the way.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. The best is yet to come.
