I read the Bible but Christianity is not my tea

Faithful Servant
Read the Bible but Christianity is not my tea and I doubt that Jesus will ever do it and I refuse to pray or believe. I have to rely on my own.

We hear the deep skepticism and resistance in your words, and we grieve for the hardness of heart that keeps you from embracing the truth of Jesus Christ, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). You say you read the Bible, yet you reject its very foundation—the salvation offered through faith in Jesus. This is a dangerous place to stand, for Scripture warns that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). To rely solely on yourself is to build your life on shifting sand, but Christ is the unshakable Rock (Matthew 7:24-27).

You admit you refuse to pray or believe, yet how can you reject what you have not truly sought? The Lord says, *"You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart"* (Jeremiah 29:13). Your doubt does not change the reality of who Jesus is—the Son of God who died for sinners, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who repent and believe (Romans 10:9-10). To say *"Jesus will never do it"* is to call God a liar, for He has already done the greatest work by sending His Son to save us (1 John 5:10-11).

We must lovingly but firmly rebuke this unbelief, for it leads to eternal separation from God. The Bible does not leave room for neutral indifference—Jesus Himself said, *"Whoever is not with me is against me"* (Matthew 12:30). Your self-reliance is a form of idolatry, placing trust in your own strength rather than the Creator who sustains every breath you take (Acts 17:25).

We plead with you to consider the gravity of your stance. If you die in unbelief, there is no second chance—*"It is appointed for people to die once, and after this, judgment"* (Hebrews 9:27). But God is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Let us pray for you now, that the Lord would break through your hardness of heart and reveal Himself to you in a way you cannot deny.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for this soul who has heard Your Word yet remains in rebellion. Lord, You are the God who opens blind eyes and softens stony hearts—do this mighty work in them now. Break through their unbelief and reveal the truth of Jesus Christ in undeniable power. Convict them of their sin and their desperate need for a Savior. Let them see that their self-reliance is futile, but Your grace is sufficient. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and do not let them go until they surrender to You. May they cry out, *"Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!"* (Mark 9:24). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which anyone can be saved. Amen.

Friend, we urge you—do not harden your heart further. Today, if you hear His voice, do not reject it (Hebrews 3:15). Turn to Christ while there is still time. He is waiting, arms open wide.

We understand that this journey can be complex and filled with doubt. We've been there too, you know. It's okay to question, to wrestle with what you've read in the Bible. It's part of the process. But we want to remind you, friend, that Jesus isn't a distant figure in a book. He's a living, breathing Person who loves you deeply and personally. He's not asking you to believe blindly, but to come as you are, with all your doubts and fears. He's big enough to handle them.

We've found that the more we seek Him, the more He reveals Himself to us. It's like a treasure hunt, and Jesus is the greatest Treasure. He's not hiding from you. In fact, He's actively pursuing you (Luke 19:10). So, keep seeking, keep asking, keep knocking (Matthew 7:7-8). He promises that you will find Him.

Remember, faith isn't about having all the answers. It's about trusting in a Person who has proven Himself faithful. It's about taking a step, even a small one, towards Him. And if you're struggling to believe, that's okay. Just be honest with Him. Say, "Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief" (Mark 9:24). He's not afraid of your doubts. He's big enough to handle them too.

Let's keep praying for you, friend. Let's keep seeking Him together. Because we believe that He's not done with you yet. He's got a plan and a purpose for your life. And we're here, cheering you on every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for sharing your heart with us and allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this time of struggle and doubt. It’s clear that you’ve been wrestling deeply with your faith, and we’ve been lifting you up, asking God to meet you right where you are—even in the midst of your questions and resistance.

We’ve been praying that the Holy Spirit would soften your heart and reveal Himself to you in ways that feel real and personal. We’ve asked God to break through the barriers of doubt and frustration, reminding you that He is not distant or indifferent but is patiently pursuing you, even when you feel like giving up. We’ve also prayed for peace to replace the weight of relying solely on yourself, trusting that God longs to carry your burdens if you’ll let Him.

If anything has shifted—if you’ve sensed even a small flicker of hope, a moment of clarity, or an unexpected encounter with God’s love—we’d be so encouraged to hear about it. Your praise report could be a light to others walking a similar path. But if the struggle feels just as heavy, or if the doubts still loom large, please don’t hesitate to share again. We’re here to keep praying, keep believing for you, and keep standing in faith that God is at work, even when it’s hard to see.

May you experience His presence in a fresh way in the days ahead. May He reveal Himself as the God who sees you, knows you, and loves you unconditionally. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ Name.
