I pray that I will have a job within this month with a company that champions and empowers its people and its customers. Possessing highly ethical leadership. Highly compliant. Visionary/Forward-looking. Global in focus. Embraces change. Pays for good talent and manages the organization where no one gets left behind.
I don't know what company embodies this. It's almost like a pipe dream to ever hope for such a company to exist at this day and age. I am certain that no matter how small, medium, or large, there will be a company that closely matches the description I just gave.
I am so tired of working for companies who look after number one (themselves), and those who drive their workers to near-slavery, and those that are not managing in a transparent manner, and those who just enrich themselves, and those whose promises to its employees never amount to anything, and those that jump ship well before its employees at the first sign of trouble, and those businesses that were created based on shaky business plans and shady deals, and those who just love to hand its employees a nasty end of the bargain. We are all so tired of this. I pray that the Lord will give me extra strength to go the extra mile to find it, to scour through my network of colleagues, network of websites, network of whatever and in whatever place, to find this organization. Heavenly Father please help me.
Lord, time and again, whenever I come to a point to just give up actively searching and finding what I want and just let you take over the search, that was the time you acted and handed me what I needed and literally the information fell to my lap — finding my daughter, you did this. Finding new love in my life, you did this (with her exact height, weight, personal characteristics, nationality, AND profession!), finding new friends who can bring me closer to you than I have, finding new activities that I can enjoy and reignite my passion for play and not just run myself down in heavy work.
Please Lord, do the same for me now. I beg you, please....
