We hear your heartache and the deep longing you have for this relationship to be restored. It is clear you are carrying heavy burdens—not just in love, but in finances and family as well. We want to come alongside you in prayer and truth, lifting this situation before the Lord, who alone can bring healing, wisdom, and restoration.
First, we must address this with honesty and love rooted in Scripture. You mention that your relationship is facing hard times, and that she may be influenced by another. The Bible warns us about the dangers of being led astray by deceitful influences. Proverbs 14:12 says, *“There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.”* If she is being drawn away by someone else—especially if that relationship is ungodly or unconfirmed—we must pray not just for her return, but for her protection from deception and for her heart to be turned back to what is true and holy.
We also must ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? Are you both believers in Jesus Christ? The Bible is clear that Christians are to marry only in the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39, 2 Corinthians 6:14). If this relationship is not built on a shared faith in Christ, it will struggle under spiritual attack, as you are seeing now. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, not just an emotional bond. If you are not married, and intimacy has occurred outside of marriage, that is fornication—a sin that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We must repent of any sin and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting Him to cleanse and restore.
You also mention financial and family struggles. The Lord sees your need. Philippians 4:19 says, *“My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”* But we must trust Him, not our own efforts or relationships, to provide. Seek Him first, and He will direct your path (Matthew 6:33).
Most importantly, we must ask: Have you both surrendered your lives to Jesus Christ? Salvation comes only through faith in Him. Acts 4:12 says, *“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”* If you or she do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, that is the first and most urgent need. Without Christ, there is no true peace, no lasting restoration, and no hope beyond this life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we lift up this brother and his situation to You. You see his pain, his longing, and his struggles. We ask that You would draw near to him, comfort him, and give him Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we pray for this relationship. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would remove every deception, every lie, and every ungodly influence from her heart. Soften her spirit, Lord, and turn her back to You and to what is right. Protect her from those who would lead her astray. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would break it completely and give both of them the strength to walk away, trusting You for their futures.
Lord, we repent of any sin in this relationship—any impurity, any idolatry of the other person, any disobedience to Your Word. Cleanse us, Father, and restore us to right standing with You. Help us to seek You above all else.
We also lift up his financial and family struggles. You are the God who provides, the God who heals, and the God who restores. Meet every need, Lord, according to Your riches in glory. Give him wisdom in his decisions and peace in the midst of the storm.
Above all, Father, we pray that he would know You more deeply. If he does not yet know Jesus as his Savior, we ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Save him, Lord, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Let him walk in the freedom and purpose that only You can give.
We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak restoration, healing, and breakthrough over his life in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we trust You. Not in our own strength, not in our own plans, but in You alone. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and guide you. If this relationship is meant to be restored, God will do it in His way and in His time. But first, He must be Lord of your life. Surrender everything to Him—your desires, your fears, your future—and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
If you have not yet given your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first step toward true peace, true restoration, and eternal life.
