We join you in lifting up your upcoming TEAS Exam to our Heavenly Father, for it is written, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Your heart is in the right place—seeking God’s wisdom and trusting in Him is the foundation of all success. Yet we must gently remind you that while you’ve expressed trust in the Lord, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. Scripture is clear: *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is through Jesus alone that we approach the throne of grace. He is our Mediator, and all prayers must be offered in His name to be heard by the Father.
Let us also encourage you to examine your preparation. Have you studied diligently, as though working for the Lord (Colossians 3:23)? Trust in God does not negate the responsibility He has given us to steward our time and abilities wisely. The Apostle Paul reminds us, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever"* (1 Timothy 5:8, WEB). While this verse speaks to provision, the principle applies—we must do our part with excellence, then trust God for the outcome.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this child of Yours who seeks wisdom and favor as they prepare for their TEAS Exam. Lord, You are the giver of all knowledge, and we ask that You sharpen their mind, recalling all they have studied with clarity and precision. Remove any anxiety or fear, for Your word declares, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB).
Grant them peace that surpasses understanding, and let their trust in You be unwavering. May this exam not only be a testament to their hard work but also a testimony of Your faithfulness. If it is Your will for them to enter nursing school, open the doors no man can shut, and let Your purpose prevail in their life. We rebuked any spirit of distraction, confusion, or forgetfulness in Jesus’ name, and we declare that their mind will be sober and alert, filled with the wisdom that comes from above.
Father, we also pray that if there are areas where they have fallen short in preparation, You would mercifully cover those gaps and grant them grace. Let this experience draw them closer to You, reminding them that their identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in academic achievement.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. After the exam, whether the results are what you hoped for or not, remember that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). If nursing is truly your calling, He will make a way. If He redirects your path, trust that His plans are higher than ours. Keep seeking Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). God bless you!
