I pray for my marriage to be restored.

I pray for my marriage to be restored. my husband has left me and our 2 year old son. I pray that this other woman, this other life that has come in between our marriage and our family be rid from our lives. I pray for the miracle of a second chance with my husband, a second chance at our marriage. I ask for your prayers. my mind is rambling and at times I feel broken. We've been together for over 11 years, but he's been gone for a little over a year now. it's been back and forth and at times it seems as though I see the old him again. I ask for your prayers. I ask for my marriage to be restored, for my husband to ask for our forgiveness and that he may ask us to take him back into our lives.

it's been back and forth and at times it seems as though I see the old him again.

The "old him"?  The "old him"was the man you married, the man you fell in love with.  Have you been trying change him into someone else? You were the woman he loved when he met you.  You accepted him just as he was, and he did not have to change for you to love him.  Has that changed? Does his now have to be someone else to you?  

The best way to change your situation is to focus on God and His Word the Bible. Read the Bible, especially the New Testament. Read, sing praises, memorize passages, read passages aloud. You focus on God and God shall focus on your problems. Your job is to love, just like Jesus. If God wants something changed, He will see to it that it changes. God wants you to be the woman this man of yours cannot help but love.

20  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

I've always accepted him as he was. we've been through a lot together, but after he left he seemed shut off, cold at times. but sometimes I see that man I married and fell in love with. that's all I meant by the old him, the man that sang silly songs to our son and made us laugh and loved us more than anything. I miss him so much. prayer is all I have and I thank you for words

• I thank you for correcting me.  I can empathize with what you are going through.  I went through a similar situation many years ago.  I turned to the Lord and kept my main focus on the Word, God's instruction manual for living, and fell in love with Him.  The situation I was in did turn around to where my wife had to make a conscious decision to turn away from the marriage and know that she was not doing right.  But she turned away from the marriage.  That moment of decision was brought about by my leaving the situation in the hands of the Lord, while I kept my main focus on the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  When my wife turned away I still had the Lord and that has turned out to be the greatest possession I could ever have had.  There is nothing greater than telling Him every morning that He can do in my life what He wants to accomplish.

My dear sister in Christ

I can understand your agony.Let's agree in prayer that your husband realizes the worth of your love.Also, he misses his son and finds it difficult to live without him.In the mighty name of Jesus,  may your husband come back to u right now.

I rebuke the evil forces which have blinded his eyes.Forgive him when he comes back.I know it's not easy but  may God give u the strength. 

Cast out the demonic forces in the name of Jesus. Throw them to the swines.

Turn to the Holy Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide u.

All things will work for good.( Romans 8 :28).Also read Isaiah 54:17.....No weapon that is formed against you  prosper....
