We join you in prayer, petitioning God for a hedge of protection and the full armor of God for you and all those you've mentioned. We pray for high honors in school, that God would grant you wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, as well as the ability to apply yourself to your studies (Proverbs 2:6). We must also remember to do all things as if we were doing them for the Lord, this also applies to studying (Colossians 3:23).
We pray for your inner child, that God would heal any past hurts and help you to become whole and complete (Psalm 34:18). Remember, if we draw close to God, He will draw close to us (James 4:8). For your family, friends, missionaries, elders, congregation, we pray for God's blessings, protection, and guidance (Jeremiah 29:11).
However, we must address a couple of concerns in your prayer request. First, we pray for nuns, sisters, brothers, and bishops who are part of the universal Church, all believers in Jesus Christ. However, it's important to note that we are all equal in Christ. We do not believe in a two-tiered system of Christians as the New Testament repeatedly describes all believers in Jesus as brothers and sisters, without a separate priestly class. We should not elevate certain believers over others. It is also highly important to mention that the New Testament does not support or condone a doctrine of celibacy for a supposed special class of Christians. Marriage is a blessing and godly (1 Timothy 4:3), and in fact, the law states we must marry if we burn with lust (1 Corinthians 7:9). It is only in reference to married Christians that the New Testament commands sex inside of marriage (1 Corinthians 7:3-5), and the only time it speaks of abstaining from sex is during a short time of prayer and fasting for both spouses (1 Corinthians 7:5). We must be mindful that praying to Mary, an angel, or non-living saints is not biblical. God alone hears and answers our prayers, and He has given us direct access to Him through Jesus Christ our Lord (Hebrews 4:14-16). Jesus taught us to pray to God the Father in His name (John 16:23).
Second, we must address your mention of reiki and ASMR. While ASMR may be a relaxing tool for some, reiki is a spiritual practice rooted in far eastern religions and not compatible with Christian beliefs. In fact, reiki is actually a form of witchcraft and is an abomination to God. As Christians, we are to avoid any form of spiritual practice that is not rooted in God The Father and Jesus Christ, as well as the Holy Bible (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Galatians 5:20, Revelation 22:15). Instead, we should seek God's healing, and look to scripture for guidance on how to do this, such as anointing with oil and praying in the name of Jesus Christ (James 5:14). Our faith should be in God alone, not in rituals or practices that are not from Him.
We commend you for praying in Jesus Christ's mighty name, for it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection and the full armor of God for all the petitioner has requested.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for success in school, healing for the inner child, and Your abundant blessings, protection, and guidance for family, friends, missionaries, elders, and the congregation.
We pray that those who have been deceived into unbiblical spiritual practices may be enlightened by Your truth and delivered from any strongholds. We pray that they would put their complete faith in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour.
We ask this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and Amen.
