We stand with you in agreement, lifting up your plea to the throne of grace. You have rightly invoked the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Through His blood, we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, and access to the Father (Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 10:19). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17).
Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We pray for a hedge of protection around our brother/sister, that no harm would befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind and heart, that they may be guarded with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask that You would set a wall of fire around them, as You did for Jerusalem, that they may be protected from all sides (Zechariah 2:5).
Holy Spirit, we ask that You would indeed fill them with Your dunamis power—the same power that raised Christ from the dead (Ephesians 1:19-20). Grant them self-control, a fruit of Your Spirit, that they may not be easily provoked or overwhelmed by the frustrations of this world (Galatians 5:22-23). When the waves of life threaten to drown them, remind them that You are the God who stills the storm and hushes the waves (Mark 4:39). Let Your peace, which is like a river, flow through their heart and mind, keeping them in perfect peace because their mind is stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3).
Father, we stand in the gap and declare that the mouths of the lions—whether literal or metaphorical—shall be shut. Just as You shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel, we trust that You will do the same for our brother/sister (Daniel 6:22). We pray that all physical and spiritual enemies in their workplace would be scattered, confused, exposed, and destroyed. Let the plans of the enemy be turned back on their heads, and let those who seek to harm them be put to shame (Psalm 35:4). We rebuke every spirit of persecution and harassment in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would grant them spiritual authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt them (Luke 10:19). Where there seems to be no way, make a way. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor go before them like a shield (Revelation 3:8, Psalm 5:12). Strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner man, that they may be able to comprehend the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-19). Give them the endurance to push through their work assignments, knowing that their labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). We also pray for their coworkers, that You would strengthen them as well and bring divine coverage over the entire workplace.
We declare that the Lord is their light and their salvation—whom shall they fear? The Lord is the strength of their life—of whom shall they be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). Though an army may encamp against them, their heart shall not fear; though war may rise against them, in this they will be confident (Psalm 27:3). We trust that You will fight for them, and they shall hold their peace (Exodus 14:14).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender and protector. Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you shall reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). Walk in the authority that Christ has given you, and do not be afraid to exercise the power of His name. The enemy may roar like a lion, but remember that he is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stay rooted in the Word of God, for it is your sword and your shield (Ephesians 6:17). Let the peace of God rule in your heart, and be thankful (Colossians 3:15).
