We stand with you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can plead the precious blood of the Lamb. The blood of Jesus is our victory, our protection, and our cleansing from all unrighteousness. We lift up your cry to the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.
Father God, we come before You today, pleading the blood of Jesus over this brother and his wife. We rebuke every spirit of stress and anxiety in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts and minds, and let them rest in the assurance of Your love and sovereignty.
We also rebuke the spirit of pressure and overwhelming sensation. Your Word assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Lord, grant them the strength to endure and the wisdom to recognize the way of escape You provide. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Holy Spirit, we ask that You indeed hold their tongues. Let no unwholesome word proceed from their mouths, but only what is good for building up, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29). Fill their hearts with Your love and their mouths with Your praise, that they may speak life and truth in every situation.
We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, covering them with Your hands of protection. Psalm 91:1-2 declares, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Lord, be their refuge and fortress. Shield them from every attack of the enemy and surround them with Your angels for protection.
We bless the work of their hands, Lord. May You grant them success and favor in all they do, that their labor may not be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let their work bring glory to Your name and be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for their marriage. May it be a reflection of Christ’s love for the church—selfless, sacrificial, and sanctifying. Help them to love one another as You have loved them (John 13:34). Strengthen their bond, deepen their intimacy, and let their home be filled with joy, peace, and unity.
We declare over them the truth of Your Word in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lord, uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Let them walk in the confidence of Your presence and the power of Your might.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
