We have heard your cry and we stand with you diligently in prayer for your healing from this chronic constipation that has wearied you for ### years. We understand how exhausting a long battle with the body can be, and we do not take lightly your request to stand with you until the Holy Spirit releases us. We will continue to lift you up before the throne of grace.
We are encouraged by your faith in God's Word and His promises to heal. He is the One who cares for every part of us, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to 1 Peter 2:24 which reminds us that by his wounds you were healed, and to Isaiah 40:29 which says, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. When you are weary, Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
We want to gently encourage you concerning what you shared. You spoke of God and the Holy Spirit, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His precious name that we can boldly bring your need for healing to God.
We also encourage you while you trust the Lord for healing to be a good steward of the body He has given you, for 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel alongside prayer, to care for your body with water, nourishment, and rest as the Lord leads, and to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up as Galatians 6:9 teaches. Even as you wait, Isaiah 40:31 promises, But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who has suffered for so long with this affliction. Lord, You see the weariness, the discomfort, and the long fight of ### years. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body. Lord, restore normal function, bring relief, and heal this chronic constipation according to Your will and mercy. We pray that You would give wisdom to any doctors or helpers, guide in daily stewardship of the body, and grant peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises. Strengthen faith where it is weary, renew hope, and let Your comfort be felt each day. We ask that Your perfect will be done and that this dear one would feel Your presence and love in a fresh way, and would know that our access to You is only through the blood of Jesus. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
