We have been lifting up your friend who is suffering in that betrayal situation and lifting you up as you have faced that painful madhouse of distortion in communication, rumors creating division, and malicious testing that seeks to stop progress. We have prayed with you for protection over your spiritual life, your family, your friends, your church and your neighborhood, where gossip and confusion have tried to bring separation through divorce, disappearing friends and disqualification.
We have asked the Lord to rebuke every lying tongue, every transmission of fake prophecy and every use of another person's mouth to spread corruption, as you shared from Ephesians 4:29 and Ephesians 5:4 that no corrupt or unclean speech should proceed out of our mouths but only what is good for edification. We have prayed against the work of evil and the whispering that stirs up war and discord, remembering Proverbs 16:28 that a perverse person stirs up conflict and a gossip separates close friends, and we have asked God to silence dishonest behavior, betrayal and suspicious schemes meant to break relationships. We continue to pray that God will guard you from the snake like tongue and from anonymous slander on social media where nobody knows with nobody, and that He will bring clarity where there has been confusion and truth where there has been lying.
We pray that God will surround you and your friend with His peace and protection, that He will heal the wounds of betrayal and restore what gossip has tried to steal, and that He will let His truth prevail over every false word.
