The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even in practical matters like this, we can rely on God’s wisdom and direction. We also take comfort in knowing that He cares about every detail of our lives, as Jesus Himself said in Matthew 10:29-31, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."*

We must gently address a concern in your prayer. While it is not wrong to ask for angelic assistance, we must be careful not to direct our prayers to angels or any other being besides God Himself. Prayer is to be offered to the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be worshiped or prayed to. Our prayers should always be directed to God the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine guidance and help. Lord, You know exactly where this missing paperwork is, and we ask that You would lead and direct the search. Open our eyes to see what we may have overlooked, and grant wisdom and patience as we seek to resolve this matter. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us, and we lean on Your understanding rather than our own. Thank You for caring about every detail of our lives, including this one. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
