We come before the throne of grace with your urgent cry for deliverance, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and set free. Your cry for deliverance is heard by Him who is gracious and who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. There is great comfort in this, that our God has not only invented the way of deliverance but has Himself found the ransom. Nobody would have thought of such a way if God had not thought of it, and that ransom is His own dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself to redeem us from all iniquity and from the power of the enemy.
Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. This deliverance from the power of sin and from Satan is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. The Prince of Darkness has power over our fallen nature so that we cannot overcome him or escape from under his dominion of ourselves. If we are ever set free from sin and Satan, it will be eternally and infinitely true that the Lord brought us forth out of the house of bondage. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes us free.
Therefore look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this sanctification and deliverance. Turn away fully from those things which give place to the enemy. If music with its titles and sounds and words has been a snare or a channel for evil suggestions, cast it from you as you would a poison. Have done with it and fill your mind and mouth with the psalms and hymns of the Lord, with prayer and with the Word of Christ. He has taught many to say, He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin, from the power of darkness, and you may by grace say the same as you walk close with Him.
Be not dismayed if the trial presses sore, for troubles do not spring out of the dust, but all our ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and what we receive from the hand of our Father bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. He will keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing.

Your prayer for deliverance from every evil spirit, demonic attack and possession has been heard, and I join my faith with yours before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
God has not left you without hope in this struggle. Scripture teaches that Christ came for two great purposes, to deliver us from evil and to bring us into good, that we might be freed from the curse and receive adoption as sons. Through Him we put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption, and in Him we have a rock that cannot be shaken. When we build our lives upon that rock, no earthquake or fire or attack of the enemy can finally destroy us.
The Lord Jesus has given power to His people to pray for deliverance, to see those bound by the possession of devils set free, and He has promised that whatever is bound on earth in His name is bound in heaven. He is greater than every title and sound and word that has troubled you, and greater than every spirit that seeks to oppress you. Yet the enemy most often assails those who are alone and isolated, and for this reason we are called to stay closely joined together with other believers, to pray together, to hear the Word together, and to watch over one another. Do not walk through this battle alone, but remain in fellowship, in prayer, and in the reading of Scripture.
Turn away fully from any music or influence that opens the door to darkness, and fill your mouth and eyes and heart with what is pure. Offer your soul to God as a living offering, which is more precious than any outward possession. Let your mind be formed by the Word, let your home be filled with prayer and praise, and ask the Lord to fill every place once occupied by fear with His peace and His Holy Spirit.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ. It is right to take this burden to Him, because He alone has full authority over every evil spirit and every work of the enemy.
The Scriptures show that demonic spirits are real. They are fallen angels who joined the rebellion against God, and their purpose is always evil and destructive. They seek to inhabit and control, and they can even affect the mind and body and voice of a person. We see this in the account of the man among the tombs who was possessed by many spirits who called themselves Legion, and in other places where Jesus cast out unclean spirits and they cried out as they left. These spirits begged Jesus not to send them into the deep, the place of confinement for evil spirits, which shows they know their final judgment is coming and they are under His command.
It is easy when we see how powerfully evil can distort a life or how tormenting certain sounds, words, or music can feel, to become focused on the power of the enemy. That focus can fill the heart with fear and unbelief. Do not let your attention rest on what the enemy can do. Remember the Lord and His far greater power. Jesus proved His power over demonic forces again and again, and He did not allow those spirits to speak or remain. He cast them out with a word. Physical means cannot win this battle, but God has given spiritual protection to withstand every attack.
There is also wisdom in not seeing a demon behind every difficulty. Demons are real and powerful, yet not every trouble is directly caused by them. At the same time, when a person opens the door through involvement with the occult or through dwelling on things that glorify darkness, including music that carries evil messages or stirs oppression, it can give ground to the enemy. It is good that you want to be free from all of that. Turn away from any music or sound or word that draws you toward darkness, and choose instead to fill your mind and home with what honors Christ.
When an unclean spirit leaves a person, the Scriptures teach that it seeks rest and tries to return. An empty life is not enough. That empty place must be filled. Deliverance is not only about being set free from something, but being filled with Someone. Place your faith fully in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, ask Him to forgive your sins and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. When those spirits try to return, you can stand in the victory Jesus has already won and call upon His name. There is power in the name of Jesus.
God has given practical weapons for this stand. You can refuse the attacks of the enemy, you can resist him firm in faith, and you can rejoice that God has given you His Spirit and His Word. Jesus answered every temptation of Satan with the Word of God, saying it is written. Hide the Word in your heart. Speak Scripture aloud when you feel oppression, fear, or torment. Declare that the prince of this world has no claim on those who belong to Christ. Pray continually, keep your garments clean through walking with the Lord, and watch.
I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I ask that You set this dear one free from every evil spirit, every demonic attack, and every oppression. Wash away every influence that has come through sounds and words and music that do not honor You. Cleanse the mind and heart by the blood of Jesus, and fill every part of life with Your Holy Spirit and Your peace. Teach this one to stand in the victory of Jesus, to resist the enemy, and to answer every assault with Your Word. Let fear be replaced with remembrance of Your power and love, and let Your Word bring cleansing and strength day by day. Continue to walk closely with Jesus, stay in His Word, stay in prayer, and fellowship with believers who will encourage you in truth. The Scriptures show that demonic spirits are real. They are fallen angels who joined the rebellion against God, and their purpose is always evil and destructive. They seek to inhabit and control, and they can even affect the mind and body and voice of a person. We see this in the account of the man among the tombs who was possessed by many spirits who called themselves Legion, and in other places where Jesus cast out unclean spirits and they cried out as they left. These spirits begged Jesus not to send them into the deep, the place of confinement for evil spirits, which shows they know their final judgment is coming and they are under His command.
It is easy when we see how powerfully evil can distort a life or how tormenting certain sounds, words, or music can feel, to become focused on the power of the enemy. That focus can fill the heart with fear and unbelief. Do not let your attention rest on what the enemy can do. Remember the Lord and His far greater power. Jesus proved His power over demonic forces again and again, and He did not allow those spirits to speak or remain. He cast them out with a word. Physical means cannot win this battle, but God has given spiritual protection to withstand every attack.
There is also wisdom in not seeing a demon behind every difficulty. Demons are real and powerful, yet not every trouble is directly caused by them. At the same time, when a person opens the door through involvement with the occult or through dwelling on things that glorify darkness, including music that carries evil messages or stirs oppression, it can give ground to the enemy. It is good that you want to be free from all of that. Turn away from any music or sound or word that draws you toward darkness, and choose instead to fill your mind and home with what honors Christ.
When an unclean spirit leaves a person, the Scriptures teach that it seeks rest and tries to return. An empty life is not enough. That empty place must be filled. Deliverance is not only about being set free from something, but being filled with Someone. Place your faith fully in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, ask Him to forgive your sins and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. When those spirits try to return, you can stand in the victory Jesus has already won and call upon His name. There is power in the name of Jesus.
God has given practical weapons for this stand. You can refuse the attacks of the enemy, you can resist him firm in faith, and you can rejoice that God has given you His Spirit and His Word. Jesus answered every temptation of Satan with the Word of God, saying it is written. Hide the Word in your heart. Speak Scripture aloud when you feel oppression, fear, or torment. Declare that the prince of this world has no claim on those who belong to Christ. Pray continually, keep your garments clean through walking with the Lord, and watch.
I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I ask that You set this dear one free from every evil spirit, every demonic attack, and every oppression. Wash away every influence that has come through sounds and words and music that do not honor You. Cleanse the mind and heart by the blood of Jesus, and fill every part of life with Your Holy Spirit and Your peace. Teach this one to stand in the victory of Jesus, to resist the enemy, and to answer every assault with Your Word. Let fear be replaced with remembrance of Your power and love, and let Your Word bring cleansing and strength day by day. Keep this life guarded and filled with Your presence, so that what has been emptied is now occupied by You. I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our deliverer. Amen.
Continue to walk closely with Jesus, stay in His Word, stay in prayer, and fellowship with believers who will encourage you in truth. If troubling influences return, do not be afraid, simply claim again the victory of Jesus and call on His name, trusting that He who is in you is greater than any power in this world.
