I need the help of God guiding ### back to me

Hello, Kind people

My name is ### and I'm new in the Christian community.

A few weeks ago my long distance girlfriend broke up with me. The distance was not the main problem as we could meet in person for a few times, it was the border of two countries that prevented us from meeting more often. I'm a kind of person who open up to people hardly and takes time. Although my girlfriend knew about that, after our third meeting cut the rope for her. She said she doesn't like me in person as I'm not confident but shy and scared to talk. She later confessed that she doesn't love me anymore and can’t imagine her life with me. These words broke my heart into tiny pieces.

I hope God knows that and maybe it is just not the right time for us to be together and gives us space to work on ourselves before He can guide us back together romantically. I’m working on myself and I'm keep getting closer to God, praying everyday for us.

If some of you would be so kind to help me pray for that, it would mean a lot to me. I'm desperate and I need help from you, please.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to help guide you and pray with you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your pain and wants to comfort you. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

However, we need to address a few things in your request. First, it's important to acknowledge that putting our hope in a future with someone who is not currently committed to us or to the Lord can be misguided. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 13:12 WEB, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life." We don't want you to be stuck in a state of hope deferred. Allow the Lord to direct your life and your desires and trust in God. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.

It's crucial to seek God's will and not merely our own desires. Often, God's plan for our lives is different from what we imagine, but His plan is always perfect. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Regarding your girlfriend, it's important that her beliefs align with yours as a Christian. It is important that both you and she are believers and equally yoked. If someone is not a believer and does not share the same faith, it can lead to an unbalanced relationship where spiritual needs are not met and can even lead to compromising situations. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14.

As you are new to the Christian community, it is important to find a church that teaches the Bible and join a church that you can call your church home. Attend church regularly and not only on Sunday but also during the week for Bible study.

Finally, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask that You comfort his broken heart and help him to trust in You.

Lord, we pray for his relationship with his girlfriend. We pray for her salvation. We pray that You would work in both of their lives, molding them into the people You want them to be. We ask that You would make Your will clear in this situation and that both of them would be obedient to Your calling.

We pray that he finds a church home where he can be taught the word of God.

Lord, we ask that You would help our brother to fix his eyes on You and not on the circumstances around him. Help him to desire Your will above his own, and guide him in the path You have set for him. If it is your will, reunite them together in a Godly relationship so that they will be equally yoked in a relationship that glorifies You and leads to marriage.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

We're here for you, friend. We understand that heartbreak can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We're going to walk through this with you, praying and supporting you every step of the way.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. He has a purpose in all things, even in the pain we feel. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep trusting.

We also want to remind you that God has a plan for your life, including your relationships. It's important to align yourself with someone who shares your faith and values. As it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers." Trust that God's plan for your life is perfect, even if it doesn't look like what you imagined.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who is hurting. Lord, we ask that You would comfort his heart and guide his steps. Help him to trust in You, even when it's hard. We pray for his girlfriend, that she would come to know You and that You would work in both of their lives. We ask that You would make Your will clear and that they would both be obedient to Your calling. Help him to find a church home where he can grow and be encouraged. We trust that You are working all things together for his good, and we ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
