I need prayers please

I’m ### with a lot of ###. I had a good job, but I was let go due to the ### that led to taking time off work. My landlord filed for eviction, but I was able to save my apartment and make arrangements with him, he did take me to court and we all agreed that a payment plan would be sufficient, however I can’t seem to catch up and I’m back in the same situation. I told him I was out of work for two weeks that’s why I couldn’t pay him last week, but I would make my payment on ###, but he said no I wasn’t responsible enough. So I’ll be evicted and I take ### and I’ll have no where to store my ###. I got two dogs one of which has ### in the heat. I work and I keep to myself, I don’t have friends. My family is very distant and I don’t think they can help anyway. I just need prayers for guidance and to find a new place Thank you

We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The weight of your circumstances is heavy, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees your struggle and will provide a way where there seems to be no way. First, let us address the foundation of our faith, salvation through Jesus Christ. It is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for He is the only way to the Father and the source of true hope and provision.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You are not alone, even if it feels that way. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that He will open doors for you that no man can shut and provide a way for you to secure a new place to live.

We pray for your financial situation, that God would provide a stable and sufficient income for you. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask the Lord to guide you to a job that will meet your needs and allow you to catch up on your obligations. We also pray for favor with your landlord. Proverbs 3:4 says, "So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man." May the Lord soften his heart and grant you mercy and understanding.

Regarding your dogs, we pray for their safety and well-being. Proverbs 12:10 tells us, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal." We ask the Lord to provide a safe and loving environment for them as you seek a new place to live. We also pray for wisdom in managing their care, especially for the one in heat, that you may find a solution that honors God’s creation.

We encourage you to seek out a local church community. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." A church family can offer support, prayer, and practical help in your time of need. Do not isolate yourself; God often works through His people to provide for His children.

We also want to gently address the struggles that led to your time off work. It is important to seek healing and strength in the Lord to overcome whatever challenges you are facing. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with you through this season.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see every detail of their struggle. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for them. Provide a stable job, a safe place to live, and the means to care for their animals. Give them favor with those they encounter, and soften hearts to show them mercy and kindness.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Guide them to a church family where they can find support and encouragement.

Lord, we ask for Your healing and strength to overcome the struggles that led to their time off work. Restore their health, both physically and emotionally, and give them the wisdom to make choices that honor You. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We trust in Your promise, Lord, that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that this season of hardship will not define them, but rather, it will draw them closer to You. Strengthen their faith and fill them with hope for the future.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and trust in His timing. Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." You are not forgotten, and God has a plan for your life. Keep pressing forward, and lean on Him for strength.

If the condition that forced time off is still active, we’d gently encourage seeing a doctor, not out of alarm, but so you have whatever ongoing care you need while you navigate this next stretch. For housing, you might reach out to a local church even if you’re not a member; many have deacons or mercy ministries that help with emergency rent, storage, or temporary shelter, and some even have connections to pet-friendly resources. Beyond immediate help, a healthy church can become the stable community you’ve been missing, a place where loneliness lifts a little each week. This crisis feels like an ending, but God often uses such hard turning points to open doors we couldn’t see before, new work, new relationships, a fresh start. You’re not forgotten, and we’re asking Him to make a way.

Lord Jesus, you see this person’s exhaustion and fear. Please provide a safe home quickly, and open the right doors for work that can sustain them. Calm the chaos around the eviction, and give practical wisdom for each next step. Surround them with kind people who will show up, at a church, a neighbor, a new friend. Guard their health and quiet their heart. Let them sense you near, guiding and holding them steady. In your name we pray. Amen.

My soul is stirred with your cry of affliction, for your sorrows are many and your path seems hedged in with thorns. Yet I would have you lift your eyes from the swirling dust of your circumstances and fix them upon the God of Job, who turns the captivity of His people when they pray for their friends. You are pressed on every side, loss of employment, the threat of eviction, the care of two dumb creatures that depend upon you, and the cold silence of kin. In all this, remember the testimony of the afflicted patriarch: In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Though the enemy would drive you to murmur, there is a grace that can keep the heart in perfect peace, stayed upon Jehovah.

You speak of one who said you were not responsible enough. Men may judge harshly, as Job’s comforters did, but the Lord weighs the heart. Job himself, when his glory had departed, wept for those in trouble and grieved for the poor. The Lord sees your struggles, your desire to pay what you owe, and your care even for a creature suffering in the heat. That compassion is not unnoticed. But do not let the failure of human help make you think the heavens are brass. Our longest sorrows have a close; the night shall not hang its darkness forever. There is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery, and God can make our bow renew its strength long after we thought it broken.

I entreat you to follow the example of Job at the last: he prayed for his offending friends, those who had spoken harshly of him. I bid you pray for your landlord, and for all who have contributed to your distress. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Not until that moment did his own deliverance come. It may be that your outward deliverance will come as you make intercession for others. And what a high occupation that is, to stand in the gap, even when your own roof trembles!

Do not think for a moment that the loss of earthly treasure is the loss of all. What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? The gold and the lease, the reputation and the ease, these are but dust. But your soul, capable of heaven, must not be cast down. Your portion is not measured by a payment plan or a roof above your head. Could you have all the pleasures of the flesh, they would be a dead loss compared with the loss of your soul. And I am persuaded that the Lord has not brought you to this place to destroy you, but to teach you to cling to Him with childlike confidence, even when He seems to frown.

You are in the very spot where faith must speak: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” This is the ultimatum of faith, to trust a slaying God. It is better to cling to God in the ashes than to dwell in palaces without Him. And you need not fear utter destitution, for He who appoints the house for all living knows where to lodge you. Your body is but a tent that must soon be folded; your soul’s inheritance is an eternal mansion.

We will bear you up in prayer at the mercy seat, beseeching the Lord to guide you to a place of shelter, to open a door of employment, and to calm the tempest within. But above all, we will ask that you may find the pearl of great price more precious than all, and that your faith fail not. Be patient, my friend, as you wait upon the Lord. He has His own ends in these trials, and when He has gotten them, the sun shall arise with healing in his wings.

May the Lord be a refuge for this one who feels alone and abandoned, for "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). May He provide a new place to call home, for He promises to "prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies" (Psalm 23:5). May He protect their ### and their beloved dogs, and bring comfort to their ###. May they find favor and mercy, and may God send someone to help carry this burden, for He has not forgotten them—"He will never leave you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6). God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
