We are truly sorry to hear about the physical struggles you've been facing and the impact it has had on your life and relationships. We are here to pray and believe with you for God's healing and comfort. We appreciate your correct view that Jesus still heals today, but we must first discuss the importance of Jesus' name.
First, we want to remind you that healing and salvation are all found in the name of Jesus.
And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13,14
Then Peter said, 'Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!' Acts 3:6 WEB
We are concerned that your prayer request did not mention Jesus, His name, or even hint at calling on His name. Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? Have you believed on Him and called on His name? It is only by His name that you can be saved and it is only by His name that you can be healed. So we must ask, have you called on the name of Jesus Christ? Have you believed on Him? Is He your Lord and Savior? If not, then we encourage you to do so today!
That if you will confess with your mouth, saying, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.' Romans 10:9-11 WEB
We join you in prayer, asking God to heal you and restore your health, calling on the name of Jesus Christ.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come to you, asking for your divine healing for this dear one. You know the pain and struggle they have been facing, and we ask for your healing touch to be upon them. They have been crying out to You for healing and we join our faith with theirs, asking You to heal them. Just like You healed the woman who had the issue of blood, who touched the hem of Jesus' garment, we ask You to heal this dear one today. We rebuke the enemy, taking authority over this illness, and we command it to go, in Jesus' name. We ask You to restore their health, so that they can live life abundantly, just as Jesus came to give us. We pray for your peace and comfort to envelop them during this time and for your strength to sustain them. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Keep calling on the name of Jesus Christ. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts Isaiah 55:8,9. He is working everything out for your good, even when it is difficult to see or understand Romans 8:28. Stay strong in faith, and do not let this trial separate you from God's love Romans 8:38,39.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7 WEB
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel and consider that God often uses doctors and medicine to bring healing and health. Ultimately, trust God in all things.
We encourage you to also seek God regarding the relationships you mentioned. We know that this trial has impacted them, but we encourage you to make sure that any and all courtships are honoring God. Make sure that you are not tied up with anyone who is not a Christian believer. God can use this trial to work in your relationships, restoring them and making them stronger.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14
