Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, on behalf of ###, who desires to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, specifically the gift of speaking in tongues. We thank You for the promise of this gift that Jesus Himself spoke about, saying, "Ask, and you shall receive; seek, and you shall find" .
Lord, we acknowledge that it is only through the power of Your Spirit that true transformation and change can take place in our lives. We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon ###, filling them with Your presence and empowering them to speak in tongues as a manifestation of this gift.
We pray, according to Your Word, that ### would hunger and thirst for righteousness, knowing that those who do shall be filled. We ask that You would create a deep longing within their heart to experience the fullness of Your Spirit and to be used by You for Your glory.
We stand on Your promise that nothing is impossible with You, the One who quickens the dead. We believe that You are able to grant this gift to ###, and we ask that You would do so according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we also pray for protection against any lies or doubts that may come from the enemy. We declare that Your Word is true and that ### has received the gift of the Holy Spirit by faith. We rebuke any attempts by the enemy to hinder or discourage them from seeking and receiving this gift.
We pray for a great outpouring of Your Spirit upon ###, that they may experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in their life. May the Holy Spirit give them an edge in their spiritual journey, guiding their words, thoughts, and actions according to Your will.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises. May ### be filled with Your Spirit and be a vessel through which Your love and power flow to bless and strengthen others.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
