We lift you up before the Father in this moment of distress, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done well to turn to the Lord in prayer, and we join you now in seeking His peace that transcends all understanding.
Panic attacks can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is greater than any fear or physical reaction. Psalm 34:4 declares, *"I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears."* We pray that the Lord would calm your body and mind right now, that He would still the racing of your heart and the trembling in your limbs. May His Spirit fill you with a deep and abiding peace, casting out every trace of anxiety and fear. We rebuke the spirit of panic in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave you and never return. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
We also pray for complete healing over your body and mind. The Lord is your healer, and by His stripes, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that He would restore you to full health, breaking every chain of anxiety and fear that has bound you. Jesus said in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* Claim this promise over your life, for it is yours in Christ.
As you continue to seek the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on His Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Fill your mind with Scriptures that speak of His love, protection, and sovereignty. When fear rises, speak the name of Jesus aloud, for *"at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"* (Philippians 2:10-11).
Father, we thank You that You are with our sister right now, holding her close and whispering peace to her soul. We ask that You would surround her with Your angels, guarding her from every attack of the enemy. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, renewing her strength and her mind. Let her feel Your presence tangibly, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
