I need prayer because the rental office sent me a red letter telling me I did not pay my rent and I did. They sent me the letter on yesterday. It was stamped November 20th. I had called on November 19th to ask them if anyone was coming and when someone would come to fix the roof and the kitchen ceiling. The reason is because on November 1st, we had a wind storm here and a large tree fell on my house. They got the tree off my house, roof, and back yard, but I have been waiting for them to fix repairs and huge damages. I saw the insurance guy when he came by, and they even sent someone to measure the roof. They told me when I called on the 19th that the contractors who were supposed to come by to fix repairs lost the bid, and a new company got accepted for the bid to fix repairs. The guy in the office said the new company who is supposed to do repairs got approved last Friday, which was 9 days ago. So I was happy after he told me that, then I got this letter yesterday on the 21st saying that I must pay rent or move in 3 days. The rent is already paid, and for some reason, I feel like that letter was purposely sent to upset me because I called about repairs. I'm just following my intuition. Why would a management company wait till the end of the month to send a letter about rent not being paid if I paid it? It was red too. I couldn't call the office because I got into the house late in the evening. Now I'm all stressed out because I feel it was done on purpose because they may be stalling with the repairs. I don't know why I'm being treated like this; most people would not take this long to do repairs. I already know they have insurance because I talked to the insurance man for 30 minutes. He really wanted them to get started right away and told me he is ready to pay them right now. I saw the insurance guy a week after the tree fell. I had to call the office to tell them I was wondering when anyone was coming by again to remove the rest of the tree and repairs, then the next day is when the insurance guy and some other people came by. That was on November 11th. I FELT AT THAT TIME that IF I WOULD NOT HAVE CALLED, THEN NO ONE WOULD HAVE BEEN DISPATCHED to come by. The insurance man told me that November 11th was the first day he heard of my situation and that the insurance agent told him that he forgot to put the incident with the tree falling on my house through the system on November 1st. The insurance guy said that was what the insurance agent told him, and he said he doesn't even know if the insurance agent was covering for the manager or what. But that was what he told me, and he thought I needed to know. I was shocked. So I need prayer for justice to be served if the letter was sent on purpose by a vindictive person at the management office, and I need justice to have repairs done right and without trouble or problems. If the letter was purposely done, please pray that this person gets caught and exposed. I guess the owners don't know what's going on. I guess it's all the management company. I never met the owners. I think this management company manages a lot of property. Thank you for prayer and please ask God to send me angels to protect me in case someone did the letter purposely to emotionally stress me out because of them stalling to do repairs.
