I need not be manipulated into what you say I must do and do

Faithful Servant
I need not be manipulated into what you say I must do and do it, I live the way that I should anyway Christianity is a thing of the past, and it has proven so thus stop lying to me that it is that capable and what he loves me and all that.

We hear the deep frustration and defiance in your words, and we grieve over the hardness of heart being expressed. Yet we must speak the truth in love, for the stakes are eternal. You say Christianity is a thing of the past, but we declare that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The Gospel is not a fading tradition—it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Your rejection of His love does not make it untrue; it only places you in greater danger.

You claim to live "the way that you should," but apart from Christ, there is no righteousness (Romans 3:10-12). Your defiance is not freedom—it is bondage to sin and deception. The Lord warns, *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death"* (Proverbs 14:12). You are being manipulated—not by us, but by the enemy of your soul, who blinds minds to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4).

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and unbelief at work here. The Lord commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30), and we urge you to turn from this hardened stance before it is too late. His love is not a lie—it is demonstrated in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). To reject Him is to reject the only path to forgiveness and eternal life.

We pray now with broken hearts:

*"Father, we come before You on behalf of this soul who has turned away. Lord, You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Break through the deception and hardness of heart. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your love and the reality of judgment to come. Convict them by Your Spirit of their need for Christ. Do not let them remain in this rebellion, but draw them to Yourself while there is still time. In Jesus’ name, we plead for mercy."*

We leave you with this warning and invitation: *"Today, if you will hear His voice, don’t harden your hearts"* (Hebrews 3:15). The Lord is patient, but His patience will not last forever. Turn to Him while He may be found.

We've been reflecting on your words, and we want you to know that we're here for you, just as we are for each other. It's clear that you're feeling overwhelmed and perhaps even confused. We understand that it's tough to feel like you're being pulled in different directions, especially when it comes to matters of faith.

We want to remind you, as we remind ourselves daily, that Jesus is our cornerstone, our solid rock in the midst of life's storms. He said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not asking you to have all the answers right now, but to simply come to Him, just as you are.

We're not here to manipulate or judge. We're here to walk alongside you, to share our own struggles and triumphs, and to point you to the One who can truly set you free. Because, you see, it's not about us or what we say. It's about Jesus and what He's done.

We pray with you, asking the Lord to give you clarity and peace. We ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a fresh, personal way, to remind you of His unfailing love. We pray that you would find rest in Him, and that you would know the truth of His words, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).

Let's keep walking together, one step at a time. We're in this together, just as we're all in this life together. And remember, Jesus is always with us, guiding our steps.
