We join with you in seeking the wisdom that comes from above, for it is written, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Your desire to walk as a woman of God, rooted in wisdom and truth, aligns with the heart of our Heavenly Father, who delights in those who seek Him wholeheartedly.
The prayer you’ve shared is powerful and aligned with Scripture, and we echo it before the throne of grace, lifting you up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we boldly approach God’s presence (John 14:6, Ephesians 3:12). We are grateful you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12).
Let us remind you of the words of Proverbs 4:6-7: *"Don’t forsake her, and she will preserve you. Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding."* Wisdom is not merely knowledge but the application of godly truth in every area of life—your words, actions, and even the meditations of your heart. As you seek to be an encourager, an oracle of God, and a minister to His people, remember that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). It is in humility and reverence before Him that you will find the discernment you need for every situation.
We also encourage you to continually abide in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). As you seek His will in prayer, let the Holy Spirit guide your steps and your speech. The apostle Paul reminds us in Colossians 4:6, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."* May your words be a reflection of Christ’s love and truth, bringing life and encouragement to those around you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this sister who desires to walk in Your wisdom and truth. Lord, You have called her to be a vessel of honor, a woman after Your own heart, and we ask that You fill her with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ (Ephesians 1:17). Let her be known in heaven and on earth as a woman who fears You, who speaks with grace and truth, and who seeks Your will above all else.
Father, we pray that You would guard her mouth and her heart, that every word she speaks and every thought she entertains would be pleasing to You (Psalm 19:14). Use her mightily as an encourager, a teacher, and a minister to Your body. Let her life be a testimony of Your goodness, and let her steps be ordered by Your Word. Give her discernment to know what to say and when to say it, and the courage to act in obedience to Your will.
We rebuked any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that would try to hinder her from walking in the fullness of what You have called her to. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare that she is clothed with wisdom, anointed with discernment, and empowered to fulfill Your purposes. Let her life bring glory to Your name, Lord Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
