Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for asking for prayer. Your desire to need Jesus more than ever and to seek the Father's wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area of life is right and good, and it is a blessing to pray with you for all of this to be for God's glory in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer is essential to the spiritual life. Even Jesus, the Son of God, showed how necessary it is by seeking time alone to pray, and how much more do we need it for guidance and for life itself. I will pray that God gives you clear wisdom and direction for each area you mentioned. For your spiritual life and ministries, that you would grow strong by feeding your spirit regularly through His Word and prayer, just as you feed your body each day. For your work and business, for your finances, for your friendships and relationships, and for your physical activity and sport, that God would lead you step by step and provide what you need. Above all, that your life would be centered on Him and that everything would point to His glory.
I also pray with you about your desire to find a wife and to build a family. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman who become one, a beautiful picture of unity. While Jesus taught that in the resurrection people will not marry but will be like the angels in heaven, in this present life God honors and blesses marriage when it is entered according to His design. I will pray that He gives you wisdom and patience as you wait, that He prepares you and prepares the one He has for you, and that if it is His will, He will bring you together in purity and faith for a Christ centered home.
For your body, I hear your specific requests and I pray with compassion. The Lord sees everything about you, nothing is hidden from Him, and He understands your weaknesses and needs with deep sympathy and love. He cares about your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the lump in the upper part of your left thigh and the lump on your abdomen under the skin, and your stomach, intestines and whole gastrointestinal system. In the law God even made a provision for the cleansing of a leper, a condition no human could cure, so that He left room for Himself to work by His grace and power when He desired. Do not put God in a box. What is incurable for people is not impossible for Him, and the only way such healing comes is by His divine action. I will pray that He will touch you and bring complete healing if it is His will, and that He will give wisdom to any doctors who help you.
At the same time, the most important need any of us has is salvation. It is better to enter heaven with a weakness in the body than to be whole and without Christ. Physical healing is good to ask for, but forgiveness of sin is the deeper need, and God has made only one provision for sin, the blood of Jesus Christ His Son. I pray that you will continue to rest fully in Him for salvation, that any sin would be confessed and forgiven, and that your spirit would be strong and well even as you ask for strength and healing for your body.
So let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, give our brother wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in his walk with You, in his work, in his search for a godly wife and family, in his finances, in his friendships, and in his physical life. Let all of it be for Your glory. Lay Your compassionate hand upon his teeth and gums, his eyes, his left leg and pelvis, the lumps in his thigh and abdomen, and his stomach and intestines, and bring healing according to Your perfect will. Draw him ever closer to Jesus, feed his inner life, and keep him trusting in Your grace and power alone. Amen.
