We rejoice with you that you have called upon the Lord Jesus Christ by name and have asked for prayer, for we know that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His holy name that every prayer is heard. We join our faith with yours and thank God for your desire that every area of your life be for His glory.
We are encouraged by your heart to seek wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing from our Heavenly Father in all things. Scripture promises us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him as written in James 1:5. We are also reminded to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways to acknowledge him and he will direct our paths in Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray that you will continue to seek Him first above all else, for Jesus taught us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33.
We lift up each area you have mentioned before the Lord together.
For your spiritual life and ministries in the Lord, we pray that you will grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and that your service will bear much fruit for His glory. We pray that whatever you do, you will do all to the glory of God as taught in 1 Corinthians 10:31.
For your business and job and for the financial area, we pray that the Lord will establish the work of your hands and give you diligence, integrity and favor. We are reminded in Colossians 3:23 that whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, and in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask for godly strategy and stewardship so that your finances may honor Him and provide for your future family.
For your desire to look for a wife and start a family, we praise God for this godly desire. We strongly affirm God's design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, as it is written in Genesis 2:24 that a man will leave his father and his mother and will be joined to his wife and they will be one flesh. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly wife who is a sincere Believer in Jesus Christ, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:14. We encourage you to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage in purity and holiness, honoring the Lord with your body and keeping yourself from fornication, for marriage is honorable and should be entered into with prayer and godly counsel. As Proverbs 18:22 says, he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of Yahweh, and we ask for that favor upon you.
For your relationships and friendships, we pray that God will surround you with faithful brothers and sisters who will encourage you, sharpen you as iron sharpens iron in Proverbs 27:17, and keep you accountable in love.
For sport and physical activity and for all other areas, we pray for strength and discipline to care for your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, to glorify God in your body as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and for protection as you remain active.
We also bring before the Lord your physical needs for complete healing, your teeth especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the ball in the upper part of the left thigh, the ball on the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. We believe that the Lord is our healer who heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:2-3 and who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We claim His promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, and in Exodus 15:26 that He is Yahweh who heals you.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for our brother who seeks You with his whole heart. We ask that You pour out wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing upon every area of his life. Lead him in his spiritual walk and anoint his ministries for Your glory. Bless the work of his hands in his business and job, provide for him financially and teach him to be a faithful steward. Guide him to the godly wife You have prepared for him, that together they may build a Christ centered marriage and family that honors You in purity and love. Surround him with godly friendships and relationships that draw him closer to You. Strengthen his body for sport and physical activity and use all other areas of his life for Your glory. Father, we lay our hands in prayer upon his teeth, his eyes, his left leg and pelvis, the growths in his thigh and abdomen, and his stomach and intestines, and we ask for Your complete and final healing touch in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your healing power restore him and let Your peace guard his heart as he trusts in You. We ask all of this so that everything in his life will be for Your glory alone.
