We have heard your request and we join our prayers to yours before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. You have asked well, for you seek first His wisdom and guidance and you desire that all things be for His glory. That is the foundation of every prayer that is heard.

We pray that the Lord will give you wisdom, not the wisdom of this world which passes away and cannot profit its possessors, but the wisdom of God which was hidden and which He foreordained before the worlds for our glory. This wisdom comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So we pray that you will continue to hear His word, to be separate for a time from the tumults of ordinary life as on a mountain, to study and to listen, that faith may grow and that you may know His strategy and direction step by step.

For your spiritual life and ministries, we pray that God will keep you steadfast, that you will use whatever leisure and strength He gives you for the service of God and for every good work, persevering in prayer and in holiness. For your business and job and for the financial area, we pray that He will grant you support, honest work, provision and good stewardship, that you may embellish your life with orderliness and gravity and use all He provides with moderation and thankfulness.

For your desire to find a wife and to begin a family, we pray that the Lord will lead you according to His good design. Marriage is a bond ordained by God and it is honorable and pure. It is not impurity but much occupation, and it preserves holiness when lived in chasteness and faithfulness. We pray that God will prepare you and prepare a godly wife for you, that you may enter into that lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as He intended from the beginning, keeping yourselves pure before marriage and faithful within it, with reverence and order. We do not ask God to bless anything outside of this holy covenant, but we do ask Him to bless the holy estate of marriage itself when He provides it in His time.

For your relationships and friendships and for sport and physical activity, we pray that God will give you healthy fellowship and strength of body, that you may use your body with moderation and discipline for His glory, and that your friendships may be full of chasteness, sincerity and encouragement in the Lord.

For your body we also pray with compassion. We bring before the Lord your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the ball in the upper part of the left leg and the ball on the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask our merciful Physician to lay His hand upon you for complete healing, to relieve pain, to restore what is inflamed or afflicted, and to grant you health according to His gracious will, that you may serve Him with strength and joy.

Above all we pray with you that in every area of your life, spiritual and practical, in work and rest, in sickness and in health, in waiting and in receiving, all will be for the glory of God through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope. May the Father grant you wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing, and may you walk in holiness and peace with all people.
