We rejoice with you that you are seeking the Lord Jesus Christ more than ever and that you desire His wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area of your life, and we count it a privilege to join our faith with yours and to seek our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We are encouraged that your first desire is that all things would be for God's glory, for this is the right foundation. Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him, Colossians 3:17. When we seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. We pray that He will grant you wisdom liberally as He promises, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We also cling to the promise to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6.
We lift up before the Lord each area you have entrusted to us. For your spiritual life and ministries, we pray that you would grow in grace and knowledge, be strengthened to serve faithfully, and bear much fruit for His glory. For your business and job and for the financial area, we pray that the Lord would give you diligence, integrity and favor, and that He would provide for every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, so that you may have enough to provide for your household and to be generous for the work of the Lord. For your relationships and friendships and for sport and physical activity, we pray that God would surround you with godly counsel and edifying companions, and that you would honor Him with your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit, using strength and health for His purposes.
We especially thank God for your desire to look for a wife and to start a family, for this is good and honors Him. We strongly endorse marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord, Proverbs 18:22. Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh, Genesis 2:24. We encourage you to pursue this through godly courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, and do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. We urge you to keep yourself pure and to flee from fornication, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4. This means reserving sexual intimacy solely for marriage, and we pray that the Lord will lead you to a faithful, virtuous wife who loves Jesus Christ above all, and that together you may build a Christ centered family for His glory.
We also bring your physical needs before our Healer. We pray for your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, for the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We believe the Lord still heals, for He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed, 1 Peter 2:24, and we pray as it is written, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, Jeremiah 30:17.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, thanking You that we have access to You only through Him. We ask You to pour out wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing upon our brother in every area he has named, his spiritual walk, his ministry, his work and business, his finances, his friendships, his physical activity, and his future marriage and family. Lead him step by step, close doors that should be closed and open doors that no man can shut, and let all that he does bring glory to You. Prepare for him a godly wife who is a true helper and believer, keep them both pure until marriage, and establish a household that serves You. Touch his body with Your healing hand, remove pain and inflammation, heal teeth and eyes, restore leg and pelvis, dissolve every abnormal growth, and bring complete and lasting healing to his stomach and digestive system according to Your mercy. Strengthen his faith to wait patiently and to trust You in all things, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with faithful believers, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and we will continue to stand with you for God's perfect will to be done in every area of your life.
