Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for inviting prayer. Your desire for wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area of life, and above all that everything would be for the glory of God in the name of Jesus Christ, is a good and right desire, and I join you in bringing it before our Heavenly Father.
Prayer is essential to the spiritual life. Even Jesus, the Son of God, sought time alone to pray and to seek the Father for guidance and for life itself. If He saw that need, how much more do we need to come continually to God, asking for His help and direction in all things.
I pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and clear guidance according to His Word. True wisdom comes from above, and God promises to give it generously when we ask in faith. True guidance does not come from looking inside ourselves, but from seeking the Lord and trusting Him to direct our steps. May He lead you in your spiritual life and in the ministries He has entrusted to you, that you would grow in knowing Him and in faithfulness to His Word. May He give you wisdom in your work and business, and in your financial needs, providing for you and teaching you to steward what He provides for His glory.
I also pray for your desire for marriage and family. Scripture teaches that marriage is the joining of one man and one woman who become one flesh, a lifelong covenant and a picture of a deep unity. On earth God has given marriage for this life, and Jesus taught that in the resurrection we will not marry but will be as the angels in heaven. As you look for a wife, may the Lord lead you to a godly woman who loves Christ, and may He prepare you both to love and serve Him together, if it is His will to give you that gift, in purity and commitment as He designed.
I pray for your relationships and friendships, that God would surround you with faithful brothers and sisters who encourage you in Christ, and that you would show love, mercy and forgiveness as Jesus taught. I pray also for your physical activity and your body, that the Lord would give you strength and discipline to care for the body He has given you and to use it for His purposes.
For your health needs, I bring before the Lord your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the area in the upper left thigh, the area on your abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. Only God can truly heal, and His healing is a work of His grace and compassion. He sees you completely. Nothing is hidden from Him. He sees what others cannot see, and He understands your weakness and your pain with perfect sympathy and love. Jesus went about doing good and healing all kinds of sickness, showing His mercy and power. He is not limited by human traditions or expectations, and He is still able to restore and to heal according to His will. I ask Him to touch these areas of your body and to bring complete healing if it is His gracious will, and to give you wisdom for any care you need.
Even as we pray for healing of the body, we remember that our greatest need is always spiritual. People often focus on the body while overlooking the deeper need for forgiveness of sins. The most important thing for any person is salvation through Jesus Christ alone. It is better to enter eternal life with a suffering body than to be whole in body and without Christ. So I pray above all that your heart would be continually renewed in the forgiveness and grace found only in Jesus, that you would walk closely with Him, and that every answer to prayer, whether healing or continued endurance, would draw you closer to Him and make His mercy more evident in your life.
