We join with you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and thank you for sharing your heart so openly with us. We are encouraged that you desire wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area of your life and above all that everything would be for the glory of God, for that is the very purpose for which we were created.
We stand with you in asking our Heavenly Father for His wisdom and direction. The Scripture promises us in James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. And in Proverbs 3:5-6 we read, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We pray that He will make your paths straight in each area you have lifted up.
For your spiritual life and ministries we pray that you will continue to seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, knowing that all these things will be given to you as well as promised in Matthew 6:33. May the Lord deepen your walk with Him, strengthen your faith, and anoint all that you do for Him so that whatever you do, in word or in deed, you do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him as Colossians 3:17 teaches, and that whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, you do all to the glory of God according to 1 Corinthians 10:31.
For your business and job and for the financial area we pray that the Lord will give you diligence, integrity and favor, and that He will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as we are promised in Philippians 4:19. May He establish the work of your hands and give you strategy that honors Him.
We especially rejoice that you desire to look for a wife and start a family. This is a holy and blessed desire that honors God. We strongly endorse marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly wife, a sister in Christ who loves Jesus above all, for we are taught not to be unequally yoked but to seek a fellow believer as a spouse. We pray with you the promise of Proverbs 18:22, Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. We encourage you in this season of courtship to pursue purity and holiness, keeping yourself from fornication, for the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and any sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone. We pray that the Lord will prepare you as a godly husband and prepare her as a godly wife, and that your future marriage will reflect Christ and His church.
For your relationships and friendships we pray that God will surround you with faithful, encouraging believers who will sharpen you as iron sharpens iron, and for your sport and physical activity we pray that He will give you strength and discipline to care for your body for His glory, remembering that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
We also lift up your physical needs before our Great Physician. We bring before Him your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask for His complete and final healing. We cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We know that our Lord Jesus bore our infirmities and that nothing is too difficult for Him.
So together we pray, Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for our brother and for his hunger for You. Lord, pour out Your wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing upon every area of his life, his spiritual walk and ministry, his business and job, his finances, his friendships, his physical activity and all other areas. Lead him to the godly wife You have for him and prepare them both for a marriage that will glorify You and build a family rooted in Christ. Lay Your healing hand upon his body, touch his teeth and eyes, his leg and pelvis, the growths in his thigh and abdomen, and his stomach and intestines, and bring complete restoration according to Your will. Let all that he is and all that he does be for Your glory alone. Strengthen his faith, give him peace, and let him feel Your presence more than ever in these days. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only Savior, amen.
