Your heart to seek the Lord Jesus Christ first and to want everything in your life to be for the glory of God is beautiful, and we join you in prayer for that very purpose.
Even Jesus, the Son of God, saw the necessity of prayer for guidance and for life itself, rising early to seek the Father. How much more do we need that same communion. Prayer is not an extra help for the believer, it is vital to spiritual life, and your desire for wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area shows a right understanding of our dependence on Him.
We pray with you for each area you mentioned, that the Lord would lead you clearly in your spiritual life and ministries, in your business and work, in your search for a wife and the desire to build a family, in finances, in relationships and friendships, in sport and physical activity, and in every other part of life. For marriage, we pray according to what Jesus taught, that marriage is a covenant where two become one, a profound unity, and we ask that God in His wisdom will guide you to a godly wife and establish a family that honors Him, if it is His will, in His perfect timing.
We also bring your physical needs before the Lord who is full of compassion and sympathetic understanding of our weaknesses. He sees everything about us, nothing is hidden from Him, and He looks on our suffering with love. Jesus went about doing good and healing all kinds of sickness, and we know that nothing is beyond His power. Even under the law, where leprosy was incurable by human means, God made provision for cleansing in case He chose to heal, leaving room for His own gracious work. We should never put God in a box. We can give Him allowance to work as He desires, trusting His power and mercy while submitting to His will. So we ask Him for complete healing for your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the growth in the upper left thigh and the growth on your abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract.
At the same time we remember that while God cares deeply about the body, our greatest need is always spiritual. It is better to enter heaven with a body that has suffered than to be whole and without salvation. There is often a connection between our spiritual health and our physical condition, and many times we focus only on symptoms when God wants to deal with the root need of the heart. We are called to feed our spiritual life as faithfully as we feed our bodies. If we fed our bodies as irregularly as we sometimes feed our souls, we would not survive. So we pray not only for healing but for strength in your inner life, that you would be nourished daily by His Word and by prayer.
Above all we thank God that He has made only one provision for our sin, the blood of Jesus Christ who bore spiritual, emotional and physical pain on the cross to free us from the power of sin and to bring us from darkness into His glorious kingdom of light. That gift of salvation is the foundation for every other blessing we seek.
So we pray that the Father will grant you wisdom and clear direction, that He will establish your steps, provide for your needs, strengthen your body, and above all keep you close to Jesus. May every answer, whether it comes as healing, guidance, provision, or sustaining grace while you wait, bring glory to His name. We continue to lift you up, trusting His compassion and His perfect will for you in Christ.
