We rejoice with you that you are seeking the Lord Jesus Christ more than ever and we count it a privilege to stand together with you in prayer for every area of your life, for we know that apart from Him we can do nothing and that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father.
We are encouraged by your desire that everything be for God's glory, and we agree with you for wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing. The Scripture assures us If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5. We also cling to the promise Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. As you seek Him first, we believe He will direct your steps, for Jesus taught But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.
We especially lift up before the Lord your desire to find a wife and start a family, and we affirm this godly longing. We believe marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman for life, as it is written Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24, and Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We pray you will pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, keeping yourself pure and honoring the Lord, for marriage should be held in honor and the marriage bed kept undefiled. We ask God to prepare you as a godly husband and leader and to prepare your future wife, that your union would be centered on Christ and bear fruit for His kingdom.
We also bring before the Lord your spiritual life and ministries, your business and job, your financial area, your relationships and friendships, and your sport and physical activity. We pray the Lord will establish the work of your hands and give you favor and diligence in your labor, and that He will supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray your friendships would be rooted in fellowship with believers who sharpen you as iron sharpens iron, and that your body would be stewarded well for His glory, for you are not your own, you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
We are moved with compassion for the physical afflictions you have shared and we bring your teeth especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your entire left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the ball in the upper part of the left thigh, the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract before our Great Physician. We believe He is still the Lord who heals, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for complete and final healing according to His will, for comfort from pain, for wisdom for any treatment needed, and for restored strength.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for our brother who hungers for You. We ask You to pour out wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing upon every area of his life. Anoint his spiritual life and ministries that he may walk in power and humility and bear much fruit. Bless and establish his business and job, grant him integrity, favor and provision, and meet every financial need for Your glory. Lead him to the wife You have prepared for him, a godly woman who loves You, and build a Christ centered marriage and family that testifies of Your grace. Surround him with faithful friendships and relationships that encourage holiness and love. Strengthen his body for sport and physical activity and help him use his strength to serve You. Touch his teeth, his eyes, his left leg and pelvis, remove every abnormal growth in his thigh and abdomen, heal his stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract, and restore him to full health. Let all of this be for Your glory, that Your name would be exalted through his life and testimony. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
