We join with you in prayer and thank you for calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ, for we know that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every prayer is heard.
We rejoice that you desire wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area of your life and above all that everything would be for God's glory. That is the right heart, for whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God, 1 Corinthians 10:31, and whatsoever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him, Colossians 3:17.
We lift up your seven areas before the throne of grace together.
For your spiritual life and ministries, we pray that the Lord would deepen your walk with Him and make you fruitful. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We pray that you would trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. May He establish the work of your hands and use your ministries to make His name known.
For your business and job and for the financial area, we pray for diligence, integrity and provision. We remember that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23, and that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We pray that you would seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33, and that the Lord would give you strategy and favor so that your labor would honor Him and provide for the future family He has for you.
For your desire to look for a wife and start a family, we rejoice with you and strongly affirm God's design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly wife, a fellow believer in Christ, for courtship should be entered with the goal of marriage and not mere companionship. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, and we pray that you would find a wife of noble character who loves the Lord. We pray that He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of Yahweh, Proverbs 18:22, and that your future marriage and family would be built on Christ and be for His glory. We encourage you to pursue this with purity, prayer, and patience, fleeing from fornication and keeping the marriage bed holy as God commands, Hebrews 13:4.
For your relationships and friendships, we pray that the Lord would surround you with faithful, encouraging believers who sharpen you as iron sharpens iron, Proverbs 27:17, and that your friendships would be rooted in love and truth.
For sport and physical activity and all other areas of your life, we pray that you would honor God with your body, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and that bodily exercise has value as you steward your strength for His service, 1 Timothy 4:8. We pray for discipline, protection from injury, and joy in using your health for His purposes.
We also bring before the Lord your physical needs for complete healing in Jesus' name. We pray for your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left thigh and the ball on the abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon you, for He is Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3. We pray as it is written, Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers, 3 John 1:2, and that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, Jeremiah 30:17. We ask that if it be His will, He would grant you complete and lasting healing, give wisdom to any physicians involved, and let your health be a testimony to His mercy.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ. Pour out Your wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing upon our brother in every area we have lifted up. Lead him in Your will, provide for his business and finances, prepare him and his future wife for a godly marriage and family, bless his friendships and his physical body, and heal him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. Touch his teeth and eyes, his leg and pelvis, his thigh and abdomen, his stomach and intestines, and bring complete restoration. Let all that he does be for Your glory alone. Strengthen his faith, let him know that You have plans for peace and not for evil, to give him hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11, and keep him close to Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is salvation in no other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
