We thank you for sharing your heart with us and for your hunger for the Lord Jesus Christ, and we join with you together in prayer seeking the Father's will in Jesus' name. We rejoice that you have put Jesus Christ at the center of your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.
We stand with you in asking for wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing for every area of your life, and we love your desire that all be for God's glory, for Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God, 1 Corinthians 10:31. We are encouraged by your desire to seek Him first in all things, remembering Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33, and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. For wisdom we cling to the promise If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the holy name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother to You. Lord, pour out upon him wisdom and discernment and clear strategy from Your Holy Spirit for every decision he faces. Guide his steps and make his path straight, and let Your blessing rest upon all that he does according to Your perfect will.
We pray for his spiritual life and ministries in the Lord, that he would grow deep in the Word, strong in prayer, and steadfast in faith, bearing much fruit for Your kingdom and abiding in Christ daily.
We pray for his business and job and for the financial area, that You would give him diligence and integrity and favor, for we know Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, and that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Grant him provision, open doors that no man can shut, and help him to be a faithful steward of all You entrust to him.
We pray for his desire to look for a wife and start a family, and we strongly endorse and rejoice in this godly desire. We pray that You will lead him to a godly wife, a believing woman in Christ, for marriage is Your holy institution, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. As You have said, He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, Proverbs 18:22, and Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh, Genesis 2:24. We pray that his courtship would be pure and honoring to You, kept from fornication and centered on Christ, looking not for a mere partner but for a wife in the Lord, and that he would not be unequally yoked but would be joined to one who loves You, for Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. Prepare them both for a marriage that reflects Christ and the church and endures for a lifetime.
We pray for his relationships and friendships, that You would surround him with faithful brothers and sisters who sharpen him as iron sharpens iron, Proverbs 27:17, and that any relationships that would lead him astray would be removed, for Evil companionships corrupt good morals, 1 Corinthians 15:33.
We pray for his sport and physical activity and for all other areas, that he would honor You with his body, for we are taught that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and that he would have strength, discipline and joy as he stewards his health for Your glory.
Father, we also lift up his physical needs to You, the Great Physician. We pray for his teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for his eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, for the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and for his stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. Lord, You see each pain and each concern. We ask for Your complete and final healing in the name of Jesus Christ. We remember Your word, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and By his wounds you are healed, Isaiah 53:5. Lay Your healing hand upon him, restore what is inflamed or afflicted, remove what should not be there, and let his body be restored to wholeness for Your glory.
We ask all of this, Father, not for our own glory but for Yours, that every area of his life would testify to Your goodness, Your guidance and Your power. Lead him, keep him, provide for him, heal him, and prepare him for the good works and the godly family You have planned for him. We pray this with thanksgiving in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
