Beloved of All
Your heart to seek the Lord Jesus Christ first is the right place to begin, and it is good that you have asked others to pray with you. If the Son of God Himself saw the need to pray and to seek the Father early and often, how much more do we need that same communion. Prayer is not an extra help for the spiritual life, it is essential to it, and God invites us to bring every area of life to Him for wisdom, guidance and direction.
I am praying with you that the Father will give you wisdom and clear guidance and a right strategy in each area you mentioned. For your spiritual life and ministries, that you would be strengthened as you feed your spiritual life with the Word and with prayer as faithfully as you care for your body, and that your service would bear fruit for His glory above all else. For your business and job and for finances, that He would provide what you need, grant diligence and integrity in your work, and open the doors He wants open and close those He does not. For your desire for a wife and family, that He would lead you to a godly wife according to His design for marriage, where a man and a woman become one in a lifelong covenant, a beautiful picture of unity, and that any relationship would be pursued in purity and with the body kept within marriage as God intends. For friendships and relationships, that He would surround you with faithful, encouraging people and help you to be such a friend in return. For sport and physical activity and for every other area, that He would give you strength, discipline and balance, and that in all of these things your life would point to His glory in the name of Jesus Christ. The promise of Scripture is that if any of us lacks wisdom, we can ask of God who gives generously, and He will direct our steps as we trust Him.
I am also praying for your body, for your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your left leg and the left side of your pelvis, for the lumps in the upper left thigh and on the abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and whole gastrointestinal tract, that God would bring complete healing as He wills. We do not put God in a box when we pray. There are conditions that seem incurable to us, yet God has shown again and again that He has left room to work according to His compassion and power. Only He can do what no physician can do, and even under the old law He made a way for the one who was healed to be restored. He sees you fully, nothing is hidden from Him, and He looks on you with compassion and sympathetic understanding of your weakness and pain. He went about doing good and healing, and He is still merciful today. We ask Him to touch you and to grant relief and restoration.
At the same time we remember that the greatest need any of us has is salvation and forgiveness of sin. It is better to enter heaven with a body still waiting for healing than to have a healthy body apart from Christ. There is only one provision God has made for sin, the blood of Jesus His Son, and when we come to Him we receive not only help for symptoms but healing at the root. So we pray for your body, and even more that your heart would be kept close to Jesus, washed by His grace and strengthened in faith.
May the Lord keep you, give you peace as you wait on Him, and answer according to His perfect wisdom and love. We continue to lift you before the Father in the holy name of Jesus Christ.
