Beloved of All
Thank you for opening your heart so honestly and for asking for prayer. It is good that you want above all for everything in your life to be for God's glory, and it is right to bring every area before Him in the name of Jesus Christ.
Your desire for wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing is exactly what God invites us to ask for. Scripture says if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously. He promises to direct the paths of those who trust Him and acknowledge Him. The Lord Jesus Himself, though He is the Son of God, showed us how essential prayer is by rising early to seek the Father. If He saw the need to pray for guidance and for life itself, how much more do we need to live in that same dependence. Prayer is not an extra part of the Christian life, it is the breath of it, and your request shows a heart that wants to stay close to Him.
I join you in praying for each area you mentioned. For your spiritual life and ministries, that God would keep you pliable and open to the continued work of His Spirit and that He would use you to do good as Jesus did. For your business and job, for the financial area, and for your relationships and friendships, that He would give you clear direction and provide what you need, and that you would walk in love, mercy and forgiveness toward others. For your desire for a wife and family, I pray with you that God would lead you to a godly marriage according to His design from the beginning, where a man and a woman leave all others and become one flesh, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. In this life marriage is part of His good plan, and Jesus taught that in the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage but will be like the angels in heaven, which reminds us to seek a marriage that honors Him now while our hope remains in eternal life with Him. For your sport and physical activity and for every other area, that He would give you strength and wisdom to steward your body well.
I also bring your physical needs before the Lord who sees you completely. Nothing about you is hidden from Him. He knows your teeth including the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the masses you described in your thigh and on your abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. Only God can bring true healing, as only His divine action could cleanse the leper under the law, and He made a way to show that grace when He chose. Jesus went about doing good and healing every kind of sickness because of His great compassion and His sympathetic understanding of our weakness and pain. He is not held back by human traditions or limits. He still looks on us with that same compassion today.
At the same time, many people focus only on relief for the body and miss the deeper need. When Jesus healed, He often pointed to the forgiveness of sins, because the greatest need any of us has is salvation. It is better to enter heaven with a body that still struggles than to have a whole body and miss eternal life. So while I pray earnestly for your complete healing, I pray even more that you would know the assurance of sins forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for that is the foundation of every other blessing.
So let us pray together. Heavenly Father, I lift this brother to You in the holy name of Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your compassion and love and for seeing every detail of his life. Forgive his sins and let him walk in the confidence of salvation through Jesus alone. Grant him wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing for his spiritual life and ministry, for his work and business, for finances, for friendships and relationships, for physical activity, and for every other area, and lead him in Your perfect will for a godly wife and family if it is Your plan. Touch his body and bring Your healing to his teeth, eyes, leg, pelvis, thigh, abdomen, stomach and intestines according to Your mercy and power. Above all, let all that he is and all that he does be for Your glory. Amen.
