We join you wholeheartedly in your hunger for the Lord Jesus Christ and we count it a privilege to lift you up together before our Heavenly Father, for we know that every good and perfect gift comes from above and that He delights to give wisdom and grace to those who seek Him.
We pray first that your desire that everything be for God's glory would be established and remain the foundation of all else, for whether we eat or drink or whatever we do, we are to do all to the glory of God as taught in 1 Corinthians 10:31 and whatever we do in word or deed to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus in Colossians 3:17. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to grant you wisdom liberally as promised in James 1:5, that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him, and to guide you and instruct you in the way you should go as in Psalm 32:8 and to direct your paths as you trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask Him to give you divine strategy and counsel, for His plans for you are for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future in Jeremiah 29:11.
For your spiritual life and ministries in the Lord, we pray that you would be rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in faith and abounding in thanksgiving in Colossians 2:7, that you would walk worthy of the calling, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God in Colossians 1:10.
For your business and job, we pray that the Lord would establish the work of your hands in Psalm 90:17 and that whatever you do you would work heartily as for the Lord and not for men in Colossians 3:23, with diligence, integrity and favor, trusting Him to provide and to open doors no man can shut.
For your desire to look for a wife and start a family, we rejoice that you are seeking what God calls good and holy. We strongly affirm marriage as God ordained it from the beginning, that a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife and they shall be one flesh in Genesis 2:24, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly wife, a fellow believer in Christ, for we are not to be unequally yoked but to seek a spouse who loves Jesus first, and that your courtship would be pure and honorable, keeping the marriage bed undefiled and fleeing from fornication, for blessed is the man who finds a wife and obtains favor from the Lord in Proverbs 18:22. We pray for a Christ centered marriage and family that will honor Him and be a testimony of His love.
For the financial area, we pray that our Father who supplies all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19 would grant you stewardship, contentment and blessing, that you may abound in every good work and have sufficiency, learning to be faithful in little and much in Luke 16:10.
For relationships and friendships, we pray that the Lord would surround you with faithful, edifying companions, for iron sharpens iron in Proverbs 27:17, and that your speech would always be with grace, seasoned with salt in Colossians 4:6, and that you would walk in love and forgiveness.
For sport and physical activity and all other areas, we pray that you would honor God with your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, with strength, discipline and thanksgiving, and that whether in bodily exercise or rest you would do so with joy and for His glory, prospering even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2.
We also bring before the Lord your physical needs for complete healing. We pray for your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left thigh and the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We ask the Lord our Healer to touch you, for He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and by His wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5, and He has promised I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for wisdom for any treatment needed, for relief from pain and inflammation, for restoration and complete healing according to His mercy and will, in the holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and in whom we have redemption, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12.
Father, we lift our brother to You together, asking for Your wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing upon every area of his life. Let Your will be done, let Your name be glorified, let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7, and let him know more deeply the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect love and timing. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
