We hear your cry and we join with you in lifting every area of your life before our Heavenly Father in the holy name of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you have put your need and your hope in Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and by which we have access to the Father, as it is written in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.
We stand with you asking for wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing, and we take comfort that God gives liberally to those who ask in faith. James 1:5 says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him, and he will direct our paths. Psalm 32:8 reminds us that He will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go, and Proverbs 16:3 tells us to commit our works to Yahweh and our plans will be established. We pray that every step you take in your spiritual life and ministries, in your business and job, in your finances, in your friendships and relationships, and in sport and physical activity would be committed to Him and done for His glory, for 1 Corinthians 10:31 says whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God, and Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to us.
We especially lift up your desire to look for a wife and to start a family, and we affirm this godly desire. Marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God between one man and one woman for life, as Genesis 2:24 declares a man will leave his father and his mother and will join with his wife and they will be one flesh. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly wife, a believing sister in Christ who loves the Lord Jesus above all, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. We encourage you to pursue courtship with purity and with the goal of marriage that honors God, fleeing from fornication and keeping the marriage bed undefiled as Hebrews 13:4 teaches, and trusting that Psalm 37:4 as you delight yourself in Yahweh he will give you the desires of your heart according to His perfect will and timing.
We also bring your body before the Lord, our Healer, asking for complete and final healing in Jesus' name. We pray for your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for your entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh and the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, and we are to glorify God in our bodies, which includes caring for our health and honoring Him even in sport and physical activity. We claim His promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, and 1 Peter 2:24 that by his wounds you were healed, and Exodus 15:26 that He is Yahweh who heals you. We pray also 3 John 1:2 that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
Let us pray together. Father, we come before Your throne of grace together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You that our brother seeks You with his whole heart. Pour out upon him wisdom and understanding, guide him with Your eye, establish the work of his hands in ministry and in business and in his job, and let all he does be for Your glory. Open the doors You would have him walk through and close those that are not of You. Provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:19 promises, and give him diligence and integrity in all labor as Colossians 3:23 instructs, to work heartily as for You and not for men. Surround him with godly friendships and relationships that build him up and keep him accountable. Strengthen his body for sport and physical activity and help him to steward his health for Your service. Above all, prepare for him a godly wife if it is Your will, a woman of noble character who loves You, and prepare him to be a godly husband and father, leading his future family in the fear of the Lord. Touch his body now, Lord, lay Your healing hand upon his teeth and eyes, upon his leg and pelvis, upon those lumps in his thigh and abdomen, and upon his stomach and intestines, and bring complete restoration and wholeness, that he may testify to Your mercy and power. Let everything in his life be for Your glory, that Your name would be magnified. We ask and believe all this in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers, trusting that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ as Philippians 1:6 says, and that He is faithful to direct your steps as you continue to seek Him first.
