Beloved of All
It is good that you have reached out and asked for prayer, and it is right that you want the Lord Jesus Christ above all else. Prayer is not a small thing. Even Jesus, the Son of God, made prayer a necessity and rose early to seek the Father, which shows how much more we need to live in prayer. Your desire to seek wisdom, guidance, strategy, support and blessing in every area of your life for the glory of God is pleasing to Him, and we join you in asking the Father in the name of Jesus to lead you.
We pray first for your spiritual life and ministries, that you would be strengthened in your walk with Christ. Just as you feed your body each day, your inner life needs daily nourishment from the Word of God and from prayer. If we feed our bodies regularly but feed our souls only now and then, we will be weak spiritually. Ask the Lord to help you to feed your spiritual life consistently so you may grow strong and stand firm.
We pray for your work and business, for your finances, for your friendships and relationships, and for your physical activity and health. God sees every part of your life. Nothing is hidden from Him. He understands your weaknesses and your needs with compassion and love, and He cares about each of these areas. We ask Him to give you clear wisdom and direction, to open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and to provide for you according to His will so that all of it may bring glory to Him.
We pray also for your desire for marriage and family. God designed marriage so that a man and a woman become one, a deep unity that reflects His own nature. It is good to ask Him for a wife who loves Jesus and walks with Him, and to trust His timing and His choice for you rather than seeking guidance from within yourself. We ask the Father to prepare you and to prepare her, and to lead you together in His perfect time if it is His will for you to marry.
We bring before the Lord your physical needs as well, your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, your left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the growths on your thigh and abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and entire digestive system. We know that only God can bring true healing where human help reaches its limit, just as only His divine grace could cleanse a leper under the law. Jesus went about doing good and healing all kinds of sickness because of His mercy, and He still sees those who suffer and is moved with compassion. We ask Him to touch your body and bring complete healing according to His mercy and power.
At the same time we remember that while healing of the body is precious, the forgiveness of sins and salvation is far greater. It is better to enter heaven whole in Christ even with a body that still suffers than to be whole in body and without Him. Jesus bore the spiritual, emotional and physical pain of the cross to free us from the power of sin and to bring us from darkness into His kingdom of light. Often we focus only on symptoms in the body and forget the deeper need of the heart. So we pray most of all that He would keep you rooted in Christ, forgiving, cleansing and keeping you, and that whether He brings immediate healing or sustaining grace, you would know His presence and His salvation as your greatest treasure.
We thank the Lord for what He has already done for you through the cross, and we trust Him to continue His work in you. May He grant you wisdom and guidance in each decision, strength for each day, faithful friends, meaningful work, and above all a deeper fellowship with Jesus, so that in every area your life points to Him.
