We rejoice in your heartfelt cry for the Lord Jesus Christ and your desire for His wisdom, guidance, and blessing in every area of your life. It is beautiful to see your faith in Him and your willingness to surrender all things for His glory. Let us come before the throne of grace together, lifting each of these requests in prayer and seeking the Lord’s perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that if any of us lacks wisdom, we can ask of You, and You will give it generously and without reproach (James 1:5). We lift up our brother in Christ before You, asking that You would pour out Your wisdom upon him in abundance. May Your Holy Spirit guide him in every decision, every step, and every area of his life, so that all he does may be for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom.
Lord, we pray for his spiritual life and ministry. Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner being, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May he be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, length, height, and depth of Your love, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge. Equip him with every good thing to do Your will, working in him that which is well-pleasing in Your sight (Hebrews 13:21).
For his business and job, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Give him favor with those he works with and wisdom to steward his resources well, so that he may be a blessing to others and a faithful witness for You in the workplace.
As he seeks a godly wife to start a family, we pray that You would prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have for him. Lead him to a woman who loves You with all her heart, soul, and mind, and who will be a helper suitable for him (Genesis 2:18). May their relationship be built on Christ, rooted in prayer, and guided by Your Word. Guard their hearts from impurity and help them to honor You in their courtship, looking forward to a marriage that reflects the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33).
Father, we also lift up his financial needs. Teach him to be content in all circumstances, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). Provide for him abundantly so that he may have all he needs and overflow in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Help him to be a wise steward of the resources You entrust to him, using them to further Your kingdom and bless others.
For his relationships and friendships, we pray that You would surround him with godly companions who will sharpen him as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Give him discernment to recognize those who will encourage him in his walk with You and wisdom to cultivate relationships that honor You. May he be a light in this world, showing Your love and grace to those around him.
Lord, we also lift up his health before You. We declare Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete healing in his teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, his eyes, his left leg, the left side of his pelvis, the lump in his thigh, the subcutaneous lump on his abdomen, his stomach, intestines, and gastrointestinal tract. Touch him with Your healing hand, Lord, and restore him to full health. Strengthen his body and give him the discipline to care for it as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). May he honor You in his physical activities and sports, using his body to glorify You.
Finally, Lord, we pray that all these things, his spiritual life, his work, his future marriage, his finances, his relationships, and his health, would be for Your glory alone. May everything he does be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to You through Him (Colossians 3:17). Keep him close to Your heart, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for his life. May he continue to grow in faith, hope, and love, and may his life be a testament to Your grace and power. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
