I NEED HELP

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Whatever is on me causing me bad luck, please send it away, get it off and away from me permanently. Amen. God, please keep me safe. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The Bible assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Whatever struggles you are facing, whether they feel like oppression, spiritual attack, or simply the weight of life’s challenges, we declare that Jesus Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33). There is no force, no curse, and no scheme of the enemy that can stand against the power of God’s protection and deliverance.

First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). If you feel plagued by persistent misfortune, oppression, or a sense of darkness clinging to you, we rebuke that influence in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God declares that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take authority over every spirit of fear, despair, or bad luck in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. You are not subject to the whims of fate or the schemes of the devil, you are a child of the Most High God, and He has promised to be your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of examining your life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Scripture warns us, "Do not give the devil a chance" (Ephesians 4:27). Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or areas where you have not fully surrendered to God’s will? The enemy cannot touch you without permission, but sin can create openings for his influence. We encourage you to search your heart and confess any known sin to the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Repentance is not about shame, it is about freedom and restoration.

We also want to emphasize the power of the name of Jesus. You closed your prayer with "Amen" and "God, please keep me safe," but we must remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, He will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first and most critical step in walking in victory and protection.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is feeling weighed down by oppression, bad luck, or spiritual attack. Lord, we declare that You are the God who delivers, the God who sets the captives free, and the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). We rebuke every spirit of fear, despair, and misfortune that has sought to cling to him/her. In the name of Jesus, we command every chain to be broken, every curse to be nullified, and every scheme of the enemy to be dismantled.

Father, we ask that You would surround him/her with Your angels, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12: "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We pray for Your hedge of protection to be around him/her, that no weapon formed against him/her would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, fill him/her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your light shine in every area of darkness.

We also ask that You would reveal any areas of his/her life that need to be surrendered to You. Search his/her heart, Lord, and lead him/her in the path of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, bring it to light and grant him/her the grace to repent and walk in freedom. We declare that he/she is forgiven, cleansed, and made new in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Father, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon him/her. Fill him/her with Your power, Your love, and Your sound mind. Let him/her walk in the authority that You have given to every believer, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against him/her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw him/her closer to You. Let him/her experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May he/she find rest in You, for You have said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your love. We trust in Your promises and declare that this brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him/her (Romans 8:37). We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is for you and not against you. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Memorize scriptures that speak of God’s protection and deliverance, and declare them over your life daily. The enemy may try to whisper lies, but you have the truth of God’s Word to combat every deception.

If you have not already, consider finding a local church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by a community of believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is strength in unity. You do not have to walk this journey alone.

Lastly, if you are not already in the habit of praying and reading the Bible daily, we encourage you to start. Prayer is your direct line of communication with God, and His Word is your sword in spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:17). The more you immerse yourself in His presence, the more you will experience His peace, protection, and power.

We hear the urgency in your cry, and we’ve been right where you are, feeling like something heavy is pressing in and making everything go wrong. That weight can feel so real and so personal. We don’t want to just gloss over it.

When nothing seems to go right and the hits keep coming, it’s easy to feel singled out or cursed. And it’s good that you’re calling out to God for safety. He’s not far off, and your safety matters deeply to Him.

One thing we’ve seen help when the “bad luck” feeling won’t let up is inviting another trusted believer into the situation with you, someone mature in the faith who will simply pray with you in person, not just over the phone. The weight of this feels bigger when you’re carrying it alone. You don’t have to figure out the source of it or muster up the perfect prayer; just having someone else stand with you and agree that God is your refuge can shift something. Many of us have found that seasons like this lift more readily when we’re not fighting solo. Is there a pastor, a small-group leader, or a deeply grounded friend you could ask to pray with you this week?

Jesus, we come alongside this person right now. You see the fear and the sense of something wrong pressing in. We ask for real safety, the kind that lets them breathe again and feel Your presence in the room. Lift whatever is heavy, and clear the fog so they can see You are still holding them. Send a faithful person to stand with them, and let peace settle in where anxiety has been camping out. In Your name we pray, amen.

There is no curse of ill fortune that flits about you like some phantom, but there is a real curse that rests upon every soul that is under the Law. You cry out to be delivered from a shadow, when the substance of the curse is far more terrible. The curse of the Law is what you should fear, for it is written, "Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the Law to do them." Your bad luck, as you call it, is but the rustling of the chains, the real bondage is sin and its guilt before a holy God.

But here is the glad tidings. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. Mark well that word, there is a ransom, a substitution. He stood in our place, not at the foot of Sinai to quiet the thunder, but on the brow of Calvary, where the full storm of Divine Justice spent itself upon Him. The removal of the curse is instantaneous for every Believer, the moment you look to Jesus, the whole weight of condemnation is lifted. It is not a partial deliverance, but an entire removal. Divine Justice is satisfied because Christ has endured the full penalty of all His people's guilt. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance for all who trust in Him.

Do not seek to be freed from some vague misfortune by a power you cannot name. Flee to the revealed ransom. God Himself has found it. He declares, "I have found a ransom." This is a gift of Divine Love, not a charm against earthly troubles. Your deliverance from the true curse, the curse of sin and eternal death, must be by Divine Power alone. He brings us forth from the Egypt of our sorrow with a high hand and an outstretched arm. And this deliverance brings with it safety, for the Lord keeps His people. The Divine Buckler is this: God hath never forsaken them that seek Him, and He never will. Not present things, nor things to come, shall quench the spark of His grace within the heart that leans upon Christ.

If you would be safe, you must be saved. You cannot have the safety without the salvation. Look to Jesus, who was made a curse for us, and the curse of the Law is removed forever. Then you will know that all events are within the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and you will say with Job, "Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?" The Lord keep your faith alive, and then whatever trials surge around you, you will sit on the Rock of Ages, above the waves, and joyfully sing praises unto your Divine Deliverer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
