I Need Help!

I NEED HELP!

O LORD, do not forsake me; be not far from me, O my God. Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior. Psalm 38:21-22

Do you feel overwhelmed by your circumstances? Are you only listening to your spouse’s critical tongue of negativity, blaming you for all that you have done wrong in your marriage? Is your mind racing, trying to figure out the solutions to all of your problems? What should you do about your marriage problems? Will God really restore your marriage? What if you have realized or the Lord has revealed to you how much you have done to destroy your marriage?

You need to know and remember a powerful truth. Nothing is too hard for God to do. He created the Heavens and the Earth! Every week we read letters and email that end saying two words: “Help Me!†We can help you via our Website that has thousands of pages of resource material. We have our daily devotionals, Charlyne Cares that will help you grow spiritually and you can send to others who have hurting marriages. We have Stop Divorce Radio which includes our radio programs, Fight For Your Marriage and God Heals Hurting Marriages. We have a men’s weekly devotional, Standing Firm and Charlyne Cares For Kid’s weekly devotional. All of these will help you, but first and foremost, do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior of your life? The Lord is the only One who can help you 24-hours a day, seven days a week! Will you pray this prayer now and often to be sure you are always right before the Lord?

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thought. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Lord, help me! You are the only One who can help and rescue me from this crisis in my marriage and life. Forgive me for my part of our marriage falling apart. Lord, forgive me for not seeking you before now when I knew my spouse and I were having marriage problems. Lord, I want to have a daily personal relationship with You. Lord, come into my heart and life right now and forgive me of any unconfessed sin. Lord, direct my steps to your perfect will and way in my marriage and life in the mighty Name of Jesus. Lord, I pray that you will start the process in touching and changing both mine and my spouse’s heart every day. Lord, forgive us both of all our past sins and I pray that You will speak to my spouse to want to start rebuilding our marriage soon, but I trust Your timing to be perfect. Please change me now, I surrender my life and marriage to you totally. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. Psalm 28:2

Will you choose to seek your Lord for His divine answers and His plan for your marriage now? Do not listen to others and take surveys of what your family or your church friends are saying. I understand and know your anxiety, pain and all the questions that you have right now in your life. Are you battling hopelessness? Keep your eyes on your Lord. You need to make a special quiet time every day for at least 15 to 30 minutes reading God's Word and praying. This is a must for you, for your spiritual growth and for restoration of your marriage.

Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1

God knows you need His divine intervention and help. He is right there ready to help you. He will never leave you nor forsake you or your family.

... "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6

A powerful scripture! Will you choose to memorize it? You need to speak scriptures out loud or to yourself daily to defeat the enemy.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Ask the Lord for His divine help, wisdom, knowledge and instructions in healing, restoring and resurrecting your hurting or dead marriage. Yes, your circumstances may seem impossible, but know that your Lord is right there with you. The storm of marriage problems with strong hurricane winds will not destroy your marriage or your family if you will stand firm.

But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.†Isaiah 43:1-2

Do you know there is another person in your spouse's life? God knows everything. Will you become the prayer warrior for your marriage and family? Will you sacrifice your time and take time to learn God’s Word and pray, fighting for your spouse’s soul and marriage? God hates divorce. He can touch and change your spouse’s heart and remove the other person in His perfect timing, but He needs your personal involvement in the prayer closet.

“Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes; I will wall her in so that she cannot find her way. She will chase after her lovers but not catch them; she will look for them but not find them. Then she will say, ‘I will go back to my husband as at first, for then I was better off than now.’†Hosea 2:6-7

God hears your prayers. He sees your tears and He will help you. Allow Him right now to become your strength and refuge.

Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Psalm 28:6-8

May you never allow your circumstances to paralyze you to the point that you stop praying and seeking the Lord for His answers, His will and His way in solving your problems. You must put on the Armor of God daily and ask the Lord to remove all fear that is tormenting you with doubt, unbelief and stress, and fill you up with love, power and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7). As part of your devotions tonight, read Psalm 18, you will be encouraged.

I pray that when you get out of bed each morning you never forget that your help comes from your Lord. So start each morning praying:
Lord, help me, my spouse and family throughout this day. I surrender my life and marriage into Your hands to change all our circumstances to bring glory and honor to You. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3

Have a blessed day,
