I need help with trusting God! I am unable to trust Him because there are so many times when I pray and hope on Him and then nothing happened. In addition to believing promises given to me in bible, I also have difficulties believing in prophetic word given to me personally.

Hi Anonymous, I am praying for you. Remember though, that when we pray to God, He doesn't always answer yes. His answer might be yes, later, soon, maybe, no, etc. We must trust that He knows best. Faith is not always easy. But we must trust in God, and He will answer. The Bible says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8) No matter how bad things get, we must trust in God, because he knows what is best for us. Two other verses that might help are, 

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5) and

"Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24)

If you are not getting your prayers answered the way you want them to then maybe you should realize that God knows what is best for you , sometimes we want something now , when the Lord knows the right time to answer our prayers , or maybe you need to ask the Lord for wisdom concerning why your prayers are not answered . He has already done everything that needs to be done , sometimes it is US who needs to do something different .

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
