I need help in prayer for restoration

You have asked for prayer, and I want you to know that I have brought your need before the Lord. When the enemy presses in like this, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and to start fighting the battle in your own strength. That never works. The attacks you are facing are spiritual, and they must be met with spiritual weapons. The weapons of our warfare are not made of human effort or willpower. They are mighty through God for pulling down strongholds.

One of the clearest examples in Scripture is when the people of God were rebuilding the wall under Nehemiah. The enemy tried ridicule, then threats, then discouragement. The people responded by praying and setting a watch. They did not pretend the danger was not real. They prayed, and they also took practical steps to guard against attack. You need both. Ask the Lord to deliver you and make you whole, but also set a watch over the places where the enemy has been getting in. That may mean guarding your thoughts, your words, your habits, and what you allow to remain before your eyes.

The first piece of spiritual armor is truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. When the enemy came against Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus answered each attack with the written word of God. The word of God in your heart is a defense. It is also a weapon. Speak it back to the lies. When fear says you are defeated, answer with the truth that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. When condemnation presses you down, remember that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That is how restoration begins.

Do not be amazed at the enemy's power. He is real, but he is not equal to the Lord. The cause of fear is getting your eyes on the enemy and his threats. The cure for fear is getting your eyes on the Lord. Remember what he has done. Remember his deliverance. When the Israelites were trapped between the sea and the pursuing army, the outlook was impossible. But God made a way where there was no way. The enemy boasted, but the sea covered him. That same God is with you.

There is a place for resisting, and there is a place for rejoicing. Resist the enemy, and do not give him ground. Then rejoice that Jesus has already defeated him. Satan is a defeated foe. He wants you to forget that and live as though the outcome were uncertain. It is not. The victory belongs to Christ, and you are in Christ.

So I pray now that the Lord would send out his light and his truth to lead you. I pray that he would expose every attack of the enemy and break its power over you. I pray that he would restore what has been stolen, heal what has been wounded, and make you whole. I pray that you would be armed with truth, guarded by faith, and kept by the peace of God. And I pray you would stand firm, not in your own strength, but in the strength of the risen Lord, until the enemy flees and the work God has begun in you goes forward.
