I need God to convince this leader who has a problem with reading comprehension and is attacking me for not agreeing with him. He is mistaking what is written in the bible because of his lack of comprehension skills in reading. He is constantly attacking me about things any good english teacher can tell him. I'm tired of this. To put it plainly he is dumb and is not teachable but accuses me of not being teachable. I'm telling him circumcision is about the ceremony given as a sign to the Israelite s to confirm the covenant but he says no it just means the law.

I pray you can have  more patience with this individual. I know that it is tough. But you know what? Try to look at it like this:  There are many people who have excellent reading skills but just do not comprehend what they are reading and are unable to make ties, say, between the OT and the NT. He is right that it is Jewish law, but you of course are more complete in your statement that circumcision was a symbol of God's covenant with the Israelites. Just remember you are dealing with a person who is limited. He can still learn to some degree and to ensure his personal salvation. He can still choose between wrong and right. I pray for both of you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Amen and amen.
