We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your situation.
Firstly, we need to ensure that our prayers are directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As the Scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" and "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." And "whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (Acts 2:21, 1 Timothy 2:5, John 14:13-WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### and her marriage. Lord, You know the struggles and pain she is going through. We pray for a breakthrough in her marriage, that You will restore and heal what has been broken.
Lord, we pray for her husband, that he will have a divine encounter with You, and that his heart will be turned back to You and his family. We pray that You will soften his heart, and that he will come back home just as the prodigal son has returned to his father's home. (Luke 15:11-32 WEB)
Father, we pray for healing and restoration in their marriage. We know that Your desire is for marriages to reflect the love between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB), and we pray that their marriage will be a testimony of Your glory and a blessing to them and those around them. (John 13:35-WEB)
We also pray for our ###, that You will give her the strength, patience, and wisdom to endure this trial. Help her to trust in You and to follow Your will for her life. (James 1:2-4 and Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Lord, let this be a time to show the power of Jesus in their lives as you work to restore this marriage and bless them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and that He is faithful to His promises. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your marriage, and trust that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28-WEB)
If there are any areas of your lives together that you know are clearly not following God's commands, let us know so we can pray specifically for those situations and God's guidance. Finally, study your Bible and let us know if you have questions.
We are here with you, ###, interceding on your behalf and encouraging you in the Lord.
