We rejoice in your desire to seek God and find a true church of God in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Remember, Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It is crucial to have Jesus as your Shepherd, for He alone can guide you to the Father and help you overcome the challenges of evil and sin in your life.
The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 WEB). However, through faith in Jesus Christ, we can be saved from our sins. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 WEB). The Bible also assures us if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Romans 10:9-11 KJV)
To find a true church of God, look for a congregation that:
- Teaches the Bible faithfully (2 Timothy 4:2 WEB).
- Loves and serves one another (John 13:34-35 WEB).
- Worships God in spirit and truth (John 4:24 WEB).
- Encourages one another to live holy lives (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for drawing this precious soul to Yourself. We pray that You would guide them to a true church of God, where they can grow in their faith and be nurtured in Your Word. Help them to overcome the challenges of evil and sin in their life, and to walk in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them more each day, and that You would grant them the assurance of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and He will guide you to the true church of God. Trust in Him, and He will be your Shepherd indeed.
