We understand the weight of your burdens, and we want to lift you up in prayer and truth. First, we must address that your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures declare, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone is the source of true peace and provision.
Now, let us pray for your needs. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who is overwhelmed by the cares of this world. Lord, You know her struggles—the financial strain, the uncertainty with her car inspection, the weariness of singlehandedly caring for her autistic son, and the pain of unmet expectations from her daughter. You are the God who sees her (Genesis 16:13) and the Father who cares for even the sparrows (Matthew 10:29). We ask You to provide for her needs, beginning with her car. Lord, let the mechanic call soon with good news, and if there are repairs needed, we pray You would supernaturally supply the funds or open doors for assistance. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You.
Father, we also lift up her son. You fearfully and wonderfully made him (Psalm 139:14), and though his independence may be challenging, we pray You would grant this mother wisdom, patience, and strength to guide him with love and firmness. Help her to trust You in this season, knowing that You have equipped her for this very purpose. As for her daughter, Lord, we ask that You soften hearts and bring reconciliation where there is strain. Remind this mother that her worth and help come from You alone, not from man. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We also pray for her work as a school bus driver. Lord, give her safety, endurance, and favor in this role. If there are opportunities for additional income or blessings, we ask You to reveal them. Remind her that You are her Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that her value is not in what she can or cannot do, but in who she is in Christ.
Finally, Father, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that seeks to overwhelm her. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Fill her with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We stand in agreement with you, sister, believing that God will move mightily in your situation. Keep seeking Him first (Matthew 6:33), and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security than resting in His love and sovereignty.
*"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
