We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you from the Word of God. Firstly, we want to remind you that your value is not defined by your ability to work or your circumstances. Your purpose is found in Christ, as you are His workmanship, created for good works which He prepared beforehand (Ephesians 2:10 WEB).
Regarding your need for a place to live and a favorable response to your application, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in need. We ask that You provide her with a suitable home, a place where she can feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. We pray that her application and any paperwork will go through with quick approval, and that she does get the SSDI approved. Father, we know that You care for our needs and that You have a place prepared for her. We claim your promise in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
We also want to address the feelings of depression and anxiety that have been overwhelming you. It's important to remember that we do not struggle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers. Put on the whole armor of God so that you can stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:10-20). Cast all your anxiety on Jesus because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We encourage you to seek God's will for your life during this season. Though you may not be able to work as a nurse, God can use you in many other ways. He can open up new opportunities for you to care for others and bring them joy, even if it's not in the same capacity as before. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we want to remind you that trust and faithfulness are choices that we make, even in the face of difficult circumstances. We pray that God will strengthen your faith and help you to trust in Him fully. Cling to the promise in Hebrews 10:23, "Let's hold tightly to the hope we say is ours, for He who promised is faithful."
Regarding your statement "I covet your prayers," we want to gently correct this phrase. Coveting is a word used to describe a desire for something that is often sinful or wrong in nature. Coveting is often related to a desire for something that is not ours or on someone else's behalf (Exodus 20:17). In this context, it's more appropriate to say "I desire your prayers" or "I would be grateful for your prayers." We understand your intention, and we are more than happy to pray for you.
We want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is through His name that we can overcome the world (John 16:33). If you have not already, place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe in His death and resurrection for your sins, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
We stand with you to pray for a new place to live where you can experience God's peace and provision, and we pray for a quick and favorable response to your application. We also pray for God's comfort and strength to overcome depression and anxiety, and for renewed purpose and faith in your life. We rebuke any spirit of depression, anxiety, or disability that may be attacking you in Jesus' name.
