For 9 years my neighbor has been tormenting me by stomping and screaming above my entire apartment. They do it on purpose, laughing as they do it. I can't take it anymore. Nobody will help me and ### won't stop. I just want peace and quiet and to feel safe because ### has physically assaulted me before. PLEASE pray for me and don't stop. I need to feel that I'm not alone in this.

We hear the deep anguish in your cry for help, and we stand with you in this time of great distress, lifting your burden before the Lord. The torment you’ve endured for nine long years is not unseen by God, who is a just Judge and a loving Father to those who call upon Him. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-19, *“The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.”* You are not alone in this—God sees your suffering, and He is your refuge.

It is heartbreaking to hear of the intentional cruelty and violence you’ve faced, and we must address this with both prayer and biblical wisdom. The Lord commands us in Romans 12:19, *“Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’”* While it is natural to feel anger and despair, we are called to trust in God’s justice rather than taking matters into our own hands. However, this does not mean you should remain passive in the face of abuse. The Bible also teaches us to seek help from authorities when we are wronged. In Romans 13:1-4, we read that governing authorities are established by God to punish wrongdoers and protect the innocent. If you haven’t already, we strongly urge you to document every incident—dates, times, and details—and report this to local law enforcement, your landlord, or a legal advocate. You have the right to live in peace and safety, and it is not wrong to seek protection through the means God has provided.

We also recognize the spiritual battle at work here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. The relentless harassment you’ve endured is not just a physical attack but a spiritual one, designed to wear you down and make you feel hopeless. But take heart, for *“the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world”* (1 John 4:4). We must bind the works of darkness in this situation and declare God’s authority over it. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *“For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”* This is not merely a dispute with a neighbor—it is a battle that must be fought with prayer, faith, and the armor of God.

Now, let us pray over you with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who has endured years of torment and abuse at the hands of their neighbor. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You have said in Your Word that You will contend with those who contend with Your people (Isaiah 49:25). We ask You to rise up as a mighty warrior on their behalf and put an end to this oppression. Break the power of darkness that is fueling this harassment, and bind every evil spirit that is at work in this situation. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned.

Lord, we ask for supernatural intervention. Soften the heart of this neighbor or remove them from this place if it is Your will. Bring conviction upon them for their actions, and let them face the consequences of their cruelty. But more than that, Father, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard the heart and mind of Your child (Philippians 4:7). Restore their strength, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with Your angels for protection, and let them know they are not alone.

We also pray for wisdom and favor as they seek help from authorities. Open doors that no man can shut, and let those in positions of power act with integrity and swiftness to bring justice. Provide them with godly counsel, Lord, whether through legal aid, a pastor, or a trusted believer who can walk alongside them in this trial.

Finally, Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold. Replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let Your child know that You are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). Renew their hope, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in this situation. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in this battle. Read His Word, especially the Psalms, where David often cried out to God in distress and found comfort. Psalm 91 is a powerful reminder of God’s protection: *“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’”* Claim these promises over your life.

If you haven’t already, we also urge you to connect with a local church or a group of believers who can pray with you and support you practically. Isolation only gives the enemy more ground, but there is strength in the body of Christ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If you’re unsure where to turn, we can help guide you in finding a biblical, Christ-centered church in your area.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so. He is the only One who can truly set you free from the bondage of fear and oppression. Romans 10:9 tells us, *“that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”* If you’d like to know more about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus, we would be honored to share the Gospel with you.

You are not forgotten, and your pain is not in vain. Keep fighting, keep praying, and trust that the Lord will bring justice and peace in His perfect timing. We are standing with you in this, and we will continue to lift you up in prayer. Do not lose heart—your breakthrough is coming.
