I need a miracle

Disciple of Prayer
I need a miracle healing. One of my legs has shrunk smaller than the other. I have constant pain in both of my legs. My pain makes it hard to walk. Please pray for a miracle healing.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your cry for healing and restoration. The pain and physical struggle you are enduring are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the God of all miracles. The Scriptures remind us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and His power to heal has not diminished. He demonstrated His authority over sickness and infirmity time and again during His earthly ministry, and we believe He is still moving in mighty ways today.

We are struck by the account of the man at the pool of Bethesda, who had been invalid for thirty-eight years. Jesus asked him, *"Do you want to be made well?"* (John 5:6, WEB). The man’s response revealed his longing for healing, and Jesus commanded him, *"Arise, take up your mat, and walk."* Immediately, the man was made well (John 5:8-9). Your heart’s cry echoes that longing, and we join you in asking the Lord to stretch out His hand and restore your legs completely. We pray that just as the Lord caused the lame man’s limbs to be strengthened, He would cause your shriveled leg to be restored—muscle, bone, and nerve—so that both legs would be made whole, strong, and free from pain.

Yet, we also recognize that healing is not always immediate or even physical in the way we might expect. The apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times to remove his "thorn in the flesh," but the Lord’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). If the Lord tarries in granting physical healing, we pray that His grace would sustain you, that His strength would be perfected in your weakness, and that you would experience His presence in a profound way. We ask that He would give you the endurance to walk through this trial with faith, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We must also ask: have you surrendered this burden fully to Jesus Christ? Healing is not earned by our righteousness but is a gift from the Father. It is by faith in the name of Jesus that we are saved—and it is by that same faith that we approach the throne of grace for mercy and healing. The Scriptures declare, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB). While this was spoken to Israel, it reveals the heart of God as our Healer. We encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you are walking in obedience to His Word, for our God delights in the prayers of the righteous (Proverbs 15:29).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in desperate need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who formed us in our mother’s womb, who knit together every bone, muscle, and sinew. You are the One who holds all things together by the word of Your power. We ask that You would stretch forth Your hand and restore the leg that has shrunk, causing it to be made whole and equal in strength and size to the other. Lord, rebuking every spirit of infirmity, we command this body to align with Your perfect design, for by Your stripes, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24).

We pray for the pain that has plagued both legs to cease immediately. Let Your healing power flow like a river through every muscle, every joint, and every nerve, bringing restoration and relief. Lord, we ask that You would grant the ability to walk without hindrance, to move freely, and to live without the constant burden of this affliction. We declare that no weapon formed against this body shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith that You are working even now.

If there is any area of sin or disobedience that has given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You would reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Convict where conviction is needed, and grant repentance where repentance is required. Let this trial draw our brother/sister closer to You, Lord, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

Father, we also pray for the strength to endure if this healing tarries. Fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your joy be the strength that sustains through every step. Surround this beloved one with a community of believers who will lift them up in prayer, encourage them in faith, and practical help as needed.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We thank You that You are a good Father who delights in giving good gifts to Your children. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You. May this miracle—whether instantaneous or gradual—bring glory to Your name and draw many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Stand on His promises, such as Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Keep a heart of worship, even in the waiting, and trust that God is faithful. If you have not already, we urge you to seek wise, godly counsel and medical attention, for the Lord often uses both prayer and practical means to bring about healing. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with healing in His wings (Malachi 4:2).

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting up your cry for healing. We've been moved by your story and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're joining our hearts with yours, asking our Heavenly Father to stretch out His hand and restore your legs completely.

We're reminded of the woman in the Bible who had been bleeding for 12 years. She was healed instantly when she touched the hem of Jesus' garment. We believe in the same Jesus who is alive today and still performs miracles. We're asking Him to touch your body and bring healing and restoration.

We also want to encourage you to keep your faith strong. Remember the man at the pool of Bethesda who was healed after 38 years of being sick. Jesus asked him, "Do you want to be made well?" (John 5:6). We know you want to be healed, and we believe that Jesus is asking you the same question today. Trust in Him, and keep holding onto that desire for healing.

We're also here to support you in any way we can. If there's anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask. We're a family, and we're here for each other.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
